All cattle will be numbered and ear tags checked with passports before being penned. Cattle which arrive with no or incomplete paperwork will be penned to one side and dealt with at the end, this may mean you miss your ballot subsequently sold at the end! CCM Staff hold no responsibility for completing individual’s paperwork. ► It would assist unloading if you could arrive at the advised time shown in this catalogue. ► Vendors are requested to write lot numbers on their entry form before arrival at the mart. ► ANY MORE THAN 2 CATTLE PRESENTED ABOVE THE CATALOGUE ENTRY WILL BE SOLD AT THE END. ► ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE FARM ASSURED? CHECK YOUR STATUS – DOES IT APPLY TODAY? The NATIONAL DAIRY FARM ASSURED SCHEME does not cover cattle older than 100 days and under 30months. It is the Vendors responsibility to ensure that the information supplied at time of sale is correct and applies. Incorrect FA information may result in penalties which you are accountable for!! DE-HORNING CATTLE!!!!!!! An increased number of cattle with horns have been noticed at these sales. Buyers are requesting that vendors de-horn cattle,some buyers will not bid at cattle with horns. BATCHING CATTLE REDUCES YOUR COMMISSION!!!! Remember BATCHING store cattle & young bulls reduces your commission. YOUNG BULL VENDORS ► Vendors of young bulls are requested to deliver stock in sufficient time to enable them to be numbered and penned before the sale commences at 9.30am. ► Young Bulls missing the ballot – late arrival bulls which are unavailable at their allocated sale ballot time and as a consequence are sold at the end of the bulls, will receive an additional £5 per head levy. ► Un-entered young bulls will be sold at the end of the store cattle. This rule will be strictly adhered to. BREEDING CATTLE VENDORS ► All Breeding Cattle MUST BE IN THE MARKET for 11am to ensure paperwork is completed before the commencement of sale. Failure to be in the market on time may result in cattle been incorrectly numbered or information not being available at the time of sale, this is the vendors responsibility. ► Cattle on a CTS born on or after 1 st July 1996 must also be accompanied by a Green Passport. ALL CUSTOMERS ► ALL CUSTOMERS are requested to adhere to the bio security measures as displayed in the market. NOTE to ALL VENDORS & PURCHASERS All Vehicles, Trailers & Lorries to be removed immediately from the Docks after unloading or loading. IMPORTANT NOTICE All cattle presented for sale at the Market must be double tagged before they move off your holding. We are unable to accept Cattle onto these premises which are not correctly identified IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL VENDORS – please assist market staff All vendors must complete the usual green entry form and the additional white vendor form. Please use the lot numbers you have been allocated in the catalogue and assign each animal a lot number on the green form, and then instruct us on the white form which animals are to be batched together for sale and the sale order, and include any guide/reserve price you wish to place on the animal(s). If no reserve price is entered on the white vendor form, then the auctioneer will assume at the time of sale that the animals are to sell without reserve, or you may enter the instruction “sell”. When you arrive at market you may unload your trailer but remain on the docks. Please have your passports, green entry form and white vendor form on hand to pass in. Vendors may remain on site to represent cattle for sale whilst observing social distancing regulations. Thank you. Please note the amended sale times on the front of this catalogue which are designed to assist us in carrying out social distancing measures between each sale section and allow the auction company to create safe areas for our staff to move to whilst buyers are offered the opportunity to inspect stock in the yard prior to sale. This means vendors of bulls and cows and suckler cattle must deliver their entries to the market strictly by 9.00am (no late arrivals) to allow for processing prior to viewing period. Vendors of store cattle to deliver their entries to market strictly between 9am and 11.00am (no late arrivals) to allow for cattle to be processed prior to the viewing period. Access for viewing is strictly controlled. The start of viewing is activated by a bell, which warns staff to vacate the penning area to a safe distance. Please sanitize hands on entry to pens. All buyers who want to attend the sale, or require cattle from the sale must register with the mart office by 12noon on Tuesday 1st September. The Auction Company extends our thanks to everyone for their understanding & cooperation at this time COVID 19 REGULATIONS From 8 th August 2020 Please note the following change from the above date : FACE COVERINGS – As from 8 th August the wearing of face coverings is MANDATORY in enclosed public spaces including Auction Houses. Wearing a face covering is mandatory at ALL our sales for ALL customers. Please bring one with you. VENDORS – Vendors may unload their trailers and stay to represent their stock being sold. Arrive on site and put paper work in the box on the docks then move your vehicle and wash out. Stay at your pen and sort stock or go to café until sale time. You can come to the sale ring side to represent stock during sale. All luck money must be stated on the Vendor Forms and is deducted at the rostrum. You may collect cheques/bacs statements from the office one person at a time. All VENDORS MUST SOCIALLY DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES. WE ASK THAT VENDORS MUST NOT APPROCH BUYERS AT THE RINGSIDE. DROP & GO – This system is still in place for anyone not comfortable with attending the mart. Please ensure stock comes with correctly completed paperwork. BUYERS – Must ring to register to attend all sales. Arrive at mart and book in at the security table on the main concourse. There is always a viewing period for buyers to go round the pens before sale. Buyers can enter the office one person at a time. All BUYERS MUST SOCIALLY DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES. CAFE – The Café is open to all customers and offering the Eat Out to Help Out scheme with discounted meals Mon Tues Wed during August. ALL CUSTOMERS – we need to be aware that there is a very real risk that a positive case of Covid 19 identified through Trace and Track to a premises could result in the closure of those premises for 14 days. PLEASE do not attend the mart if you are showing any symptoms. NO VISTORS ARE PERMITTED TO THE MART – ACTIVE CUSTOMERS ONLY AT THE MOMENT. Streaming Cameras - All sales are Streamed Live and can be watched from home.
