RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 423 Minutes of REGULAR Meeting December 5, 2012 The Twinsburg City School District Board of Education met in REGULAR session on the above date at the Twinsburg Government Center in Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. The following board members were present: Mr. Andrews, Mrs. Cain-Criswell, Mr. Crosby, Mr. Shebeck and Mr. Stuver. Recordings of the Board of Education meeting are made and kept at the Board Office. Video recordings and Board approved Minutes are available on the District’s web site. Mr. Stuver moved and Ms. Cain-Criswell seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education adopt resolutions 12-371 to 12-373. 12-371 Minutes Mr. Stuver moved and Ms. Cain-Criswell seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education approves the following Minutes: Regular Meetings: November 20, 2012. 12-372 Check Register That the Twinsburg Board of Education accepts the Check Register for the Month of October, 2012, the total, including payroll is $3,791,349.04. 12-373 Financial Report That the Twinsburg Board of Education accepts the following Financial Report for the Month of October, 2012. Ayes: Mr. Andrews, Mrs. Cain-Criswell, Mr. Crosby, Mr. Shebeck and Mr. Stuver. The Board President declared the motions approved. 12-374 Amend Exhibit H-3 Mr. Crosby moved and Mr. Andrews seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education amend Exhibit H-3 to “Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach” for Robert Pacsi. The word Basketball was omitted from the original agenda item. Ayes: Mr. Andrews, Mrs. Cain-Criswell, Mr. Crosby, Mr. Shebeck and Mr. Stuver. The Board President declared the motion approved. Mr. Stuver moved and Mr. Andrews seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education adopt resolutions 12-375 to 12-377. 12-375 Employment - Certificated That the Twinsburg Board of Education accepts the Certificated/Licensed Personnel and/or contract recommendations detailed below as per the dates, terms, and other applicable conditions specified, pending satisfactory ORC background check. Mr. Stuver moved and Mr. Andrews seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education adopt resolutions 12-378 to 12-386. 12-378 Accept Donation That the Twinsburg Board of Education accepts a donation of the following items from Mark Silversten, 10321 Meriden Court, Aurora OH 44202 to Twinsburg High School. See Pages 427-462 12-381 Title I Parent Involvement Policy That the Twinsburg Board of Education adopts the Title I Parent Involvement Policy that was approved at the Title I meeting held on November 27, 2012. 12-382 ASG Education Services, LLC, Leap Program That the Twinsburg Board of Education approves a contract with ASG Education Services, LLC, Leap Program , a special needs education company, for the sole purpose of providing education services in accordance with placement in the “Leap Program”; in the amount of $125 per day, not to exceed fifty (50) days. 12-383 Revise Minimum Credits for THS That the Twinsburg Board of Education approves a revision to the minimum credits needed to graduate from Twinsburg High School. Effective August 2013 for the Class of 2014 and beyond, the minimum number of credits needed to graduate from Twinsburg High School will be twenty-two (22). RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 426 Minutes of REGULAR Meeting December 5, 2012 12-384 Approve Purchase That the Twinsburg Board of Education approves the purchase of a Jacobsen R311T Rotary Mower, to be purchased with PI funds: State of Ohio STS Contract Price: $50,622.75 Trade-In Equipment: Jacobsen HR5111 Rotary Mower - $20,622.75 Cushman Hawk Golf Cart - $ 250.00 Total Cost: $29,750.00 12-385 Deletion from Inventory That the Twinsburg Board of Education approves the deletion from inventory of one (1) Cushman Hawk Golf Cart, Electric Vehicle, 1980, Inventory Tag #000339, valued at $250.00. This equipment will be traded in for the purchase of the Jacobsen R311T Rotary Mower. 12-386 Contract with Logical Choice Technologies That the Twinsburg Board of Education approves a contract with Logical Choice Technologies for the purchase of twenty-four (24) Promethean Boards and installation equipment valued at $62,521.55, to be purchased with PI funds. Ayes: Mr. Andrews, Mrs. Cain-Criswell, Mr. Crosby, and Mr. Shebeck and Mr. Stuver. The Board President declared the motions approved. 12-387 ADJOURNMENT Mr. Stuver moved and Mr. Andrews seconded that the Twinsburg Board of Education adjourn at 8:15 p.m. Ayes: Mr. Andrews, Mrs. Cain-Criswell, Mr. Crosby, Mr. Shebeck, and Mr. Stuver.
