David Beevers FSA has been Keeper of the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, since 2007. Before that he was Keeper of Fine Art and Keeper of Preston Manor, also at Brighton. Whilst curator at Tredegar House, Newport, South Wales, he was awarded a Leverhulme scholarship to attend the 1978 Attingham Summer School, a memorable year whose alumni included the late and much missed Giles Waterfield. In 1998 he attended Studies and in 2002, 2009, 2015 and 2017 participated in the Attingham Study Programme.

David has curated many exhibitions, including Chinese Whispers, Chinoiserie in Britain, in 2008 and has hosted many visits by the Summer School to the Royal Pavilion. He looks forward to welcoming the 2021 class, whose fortunate members will be able to see the magnificent Royal Loans returned in 2019 which, thanks to the generosity of Her Majesty The Queen, results in the Pavilion's looking more magnificent than it has ever looked since it ceased to be a Royal Palace after 's last visit in 1845.

Annabel Westman FSA is Executive Director of the Attingham Trust, a position she has held since 2005. Before that, she was Director of the Summer School for 13 years, first with Dr Geoffrey Beard and then with Giles Waterfield. She has also led several Study Programmes in Europe. She attended the Summer School herself in 1977.

Annabel is a textile historian and consultant, an independent position which she has steadily built up over the last 40 years. Working with heritage organizations, she advises on the furnishing textiles in interiors, researching the period to be replicated and managing the project through to completion. Projects have involved royal palaces such as , and , many country house properties including Chatsworth, Dumfries House and Kedleston Hall, as well as museums. Without doubt one of the highlights of her distinguished career has been the restoration of the saloon in the Royal Pavilion at Brighton. She is also author of Fringe, Frog and Tassel: the Art of the Trimmings-Maker in Interior Decoration, which was published last year.
