LAST TIME OUT • Franco’s last appearnce with the M-Braves came on April 20 against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. In his first start with the M-Braves during 2018, the right-hander pitched, 3.2 innings, allowed six hits, four runs, all earned, walked one and struck out four.

ACQUIRED • Selected by the Braves from the Miami Marlins in the minor league phase of the 2015 Rule 5 Draft on December 10, 2015.

2017 SEASON • Appeared between three levels of the Braves system, combining to go 6-6 with a 3.86 ERA (52 ER/121.1 IP) between Rome (A), Gwinnett (AAA) and Florida (A+). Made two relief appearances with Rome before transferring to Gwinnett on 4/22. Made two starts with the G-Braves before being assigned to Florida on 5/7 and making 19 starts over the remainder of the season. Franco’s 106.2 innings with Florida paced the FireFrogs staff, and his 121.1 combined innings were 10th most among Braves farmhands.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS 2016 SEASON • Played his first season in the organization with High-A Carolina and established new career highs in appearances (26) and innings (144.0) while going 6-12 with a 4.69 ERA (75 ER/144.0 IP) over 25 starts. Franco’s 144.0 innings of work were fourth most by a Braves farmhand on the season. Tossed the second shutout of his career in his final start of the season, holding Winston-Salem to just three hits and two walks over 7.0 innings in a 5-0 Mudcats win.

2015 SEASON • Combined to make a then career-high 25 starts between two clubs and two organizations, going 6-12 with a 6.29 ERA (75 ER/126.0 IP) between Bowling Green (A) of the Rays system and Greensboro (A) of the Marlins.
