Any person who contravenes any provision of regulations 1 to 4 shall be ~uilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two tbundred new cedis or to imprisonment ~ot exceeaing six monlhs or to both. (2) Any person who contravenes this regulation shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary ~onviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred new cedis. Applicatfon 12. Application for a game and trophy export permit shall be for snmo · and trophy made in writing to the Chief Game and Wildlife Olficer accompanied export by a fee of three new cedis and by the particulars specified in the permit. Sixth Schedule to these Regulations. 5 L.I. ·685, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION REGULATIONS, 1971 13. (2) A game and trophy export permit may be iss11ed subject to s11ch special conditions anu restrictions as tne Chief Game and Wildlife Officer may in his discretion think fit to impose, and such conditk ns or restrictions shall be endorseo on the permit. (3) Where the holder of a game and trophy export permit contravenes any special cundition or restriction endorseo on tne permit, the permit shall from the time of such contravention be vi)id for all purposes. ( 4) A game and trophy expnrt permit shall 11ot be transferable and shall not at>thorise the export of the items to which it relates in more than one ccnsignment, 14. (1) The grant of a game and trophy export permit shall be Discretion in the discretion of the Chief Game and Wildlife Officer, and he may to grant refuse to grant snch permit- Permit, (a) where in his opinion the grant of the permit would be undesirable havin5 regard to the conservation of the specks concerned; or (h) where he is not satisfied that any item to which the permit relates has been lawfully acquired. (2) Where for any reason the grant of a game and trophy export permit is refused, the Chief Game and Wildlife Officer shall return the fee submitted by the applicant.
