Minutes Item I The Chairman was authorised to sign the Minutes of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Planning, Access and Rights of Way Committee held on 29th April 2014 as a correct record. 5. Members were asked to receive the Minutes of the Brecon Beacons National Park Local Access Forum Meeting held on Wednesday 22nd January 2014 at The National Park Visitor Centre The minutes were noted after it was confirmed that Members were required to receive the minutes and not confirm as stated in the Agenda. 6. Members made the following decisions on planning applications before them (all permissions being subject to conditions and agreements recommended unless otherwise stated and refusals for the reasons recommended):- Item No. Description 1. 13/10295/FUL – The proposal comprises the construction of 92 residential units and associated works, including a new road, public open space and recreational space – Land at Cae Meldon, Gilwern Members were provided with a presentation by the Case Officer, Mr Rhodri Davies Late Info: A summary of late correspondence received from residents of 8 Lancaster Drive, Aberbaiden Farm, Eriksay Lancaster Drive, Rosary Lancaster Drive, Vaynor Lancaster Drive, 12 Lancaster Drive, 6 Lancaster Drive, Oaklands, Crossroads, 20 Broadmead, 7 Basildene Close, neighbouring residents, Rosina Cottage, Crossfields Bungalow and 10 Lancaster Drive were provided by Mr Davies as part of his presentation. Late information was also received from Natural Resources Wales and Monmouthshire Highways and this was also summarised by Mr Davies as part of his presentation. Public Mrs S Nightingale (Representative of resident Mrs C Lewis) addressed members. Speakers: A copy of the text will be placed on the file for public information. Proposal Permit subject to Section 106 Agreement. A proposal was made by Mr M Buckle, seconded by Cllr C Davies to defer this application for a site visit. Proposed by Mr M Buckle Seconded by Cllr C Davies Decision: Defer for site visit at next PAROW Committee Meeting on 29th July 2014 Cllr P Ashton withdrew from the meeting momentarily and returned. 2. 14/10605/FUL – Alterations and extension to property – Mountwood, Merthyr Road, Llanfoist This application was withdrawn by the applicant prior to the meeting. 3. 14/10683/FUL – Demolition of existing rear extension with the proposal of the insertion of roof lights into the original dwelling and a two storey side extension and single storey rear extension – Whitecastle, Cwmyoy, Abergavenny. Members were provided with a presentation by the Case Officer, Miss Kate Davies. Late Info: None Proposal Permit subject to an added condition that a photographic survey be required.
