Meet the Director: Orion Rapp Woodwind Summer Dr. Orion Rapp is principal oboist Music Week of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, a position he has held since fall 2013. IPFW Rhinehart Music Center He also served as principal oboist Orion Rapp, Director of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra since 2009, where he is regularly IPFW Community Arts Academy featured as a soloist. An avid educator, Art Dance Music Theatre Grades Pre K - 12 Orion has taught for 6 summers at the historic Interlochen Summer Arts Camp and currently teaches at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Woodwind Summer Music Week is a fun, fast- paced day camp for middle school and high school music students (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and French Horn). We offer professional instruction from musicians of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. This program is open to students of all levels and includes master classes, chamber music, and music theory instruction.
