As a member of the jury panel, I was impressed by the creativity of the candidates’ design schemes. You may visit the winning design, Gateway of Happiness, at Victoria Park Lunar New Year Fair 2020! 2019 Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture ('UABBHK2019') With the theme '2 x 2: Imagine to Innovate', the UABBHK2019 curatorial team, led by Mr. Roger Wu, believes the key lies in how current and future generations imagine and envision the city, and would focus on exploring new proposals and experiments that can bring positive changes to the city. In between May to August 2019, 5 curatorial conversations with the intentional curatorial advisors, past UABBHK curators and some well-known curator and architects in Hong Kong as speakers, were held, to engage the stakeholders of the exhibition in dialogues shaping the exhibition. This year, China Week focused on the Greater Bay Area and its development. Participants saw documentaries and took part in model bridge building workshops, learning how the connecting bridge between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are bringing the cities closer. Film Screenings Three documentaries on the construction and development of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge were screened, which were then followed by a sharing session from Mr. Ho Hin-ngai, renowned Hong Kong architect. Model Bridge Building Workshops To encourage creativity and problem-solving, participants designed and built their own bridges with LEGOs, while also learning about Chinese history and culture. Special Programmes and Projects Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum 2018 71 The Global Youth Entrepreneurship Forum 2018 was organised by the Federation and co-organised by the Shenzhen Youth Federation (SZYF) and Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E Hub). Over 800 participants gathered on 10 June 2018 in Hong Kong, 11 June at Qianhai Guangdong (Pilot) Free Trade Zone, and 12 to 13 June in Chengdu, Sichuan, with a resource list of mentors and professionals from different industries to speak at the panel discussions, breakout sessions, exhibitions and competitions. They addressed a wide range of topics, including AI, FinTech, development of smart cities and the Greater Bay Area. The Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum was launched in 2014 and since then, more than 4,500 participants from over 23 countries and regions have participated, building networks to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship.

Starting from historical and sociolinguistic reasons, this paper is intended to provide a panoramic view of Chinese education in Singapore, clarify and compare Chinese education syllabi on different levels from primary schools to pre-university schools, cover social movement support on promoting Chinese learning and use in this multilingual society. Meanwhile, Singapore’s success in bilingual education cannot hide its own problems. As a MIS major, I felt that there’s a limited amount of classes I can take at my home institution and I saw studying abroad as an excellent opportunity to expand my academic knowledge and enhance my professional portfolio. I was told that not that many MIS majors take the opportunity to study abroad, which made me want to break the trend.
