The aim of the system is to ensure that client’s objectives are met with minimum wastage, rework or concessions and thus achieving a reliable cost system of management. Al-Jeel Al-Thalith Contracting Company Ltd. considers satisfying client require- ments and achieving the prime project objectives as an essential quality issue. J.T. oper- ates a total quality management system, fully supported by the management and staff. A commitment to quality is required from all employees and the “think quality” philosophy is encouraged in all aspects of J.T. operations. To ensure the achievement of these objectives, J.T. has appointed a Quality As- surance Manager, who is responsible for the introduction, documentation, implementa- tion and maintenance of the Quality System. The Quality Assurance Manager has a di- rect reporting link to the Managing Director on all Quality Matters in order to ensure independence. J.T. Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Manual have been developed to meet the requirements of the International Standard Organization ISO 9002. Our policy statements have been developed in line with these standards. Quality Control The Quality Control department is an integral part of the contractors overall organization, and the contractor’s organizational chart should clearly define its place with in. The Quality Control Officer reports directly to the project manager and coordi- nate the Quality Control function with the Project Superintendent on site. The Quality Control Officer will coordinate technicians and site engineers as required to assist in managing and administering the contractor’s quality control program set forth in this document.
