ALL-TIME OPPONENTS consecutive conference wins before dropping the fi nal two games of the season. Finishing with an overall record of 7-5 and 7-2 in the conference, Grambling was only one win Alabama A&M University 3-0 Alabama State University 3-1 away from clinching a western division title and a berth in the SWAC Championship game. The Arizona, University of 0-1 drastic turnaround by the program created national headlines for Fobbs and the program Bethune-Cookman University 0-2 California, University of 0-1 earning him several Coach of the Year awards. Clark Atlanta University 1-0 In 2014, Fobbs was named SWAC Coach of the Year, Louisiana Sports Writers Coach of Houston, University of 0-1 Jackson State University 4-0 the Year, Black College HOF Sports Writers Coach of the Year and Sheridan Broadcasting Lamar University 0-1 North Carolina Central University 1-0 Network Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year and was named as a FCS Eddie Robinson Award Mississippi Valley State University 4-0 Finalist. Northwestern State University 1-0 Prairie View A&M University 4-0 The success continued into Fobbs’ second year at Grambling. In only his second season, Southern University 3-1 Fobbs guided the team to an undefeated regular season conference record (9-0) – the fi rst Texas Southern University 4-0 Tulane University 0-1 undefeated regular-season record by a SWAC school since Grambling fi nished 7-0 in 2008 Virginia-Lynchburg, University of 1-0 – and a western division championship. Home 13-2 Away 16-6 After a one-year stint serving as the wide receivers coach with Southern Mississippi in Neutral 9-2 2012, Fobbs returned to McNeese State University for the 2013 for a sixth overall season Overall Record 37-10 SWAC Record 31-2 as a member of the McNeese coaching staff as the tight ends coach. That season, McNeese BY UNIFORMS defeated FBS opponent University of South Florida 53-21. After a 10-2 regular season, White Jersey (White Pants) 3-5 McNeese made yet another FCS playoff appearance. During that time, he mentored players Quinten Lawrence, who Black Jersey (White Pants) 1-0 Black Jersey (Black Pants) 6-2 was drafted and played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins, and Steven White- Black Jersey (Gold Pants) 1-0 Black Jersey (Red Pants) 1-0 head, an all-conference receiver. Fobbs was also a state qualifi er in the open 200m dash in Arkansas 2-0 1991.
