HIS TEAM MATES ON KESH

Kesh is known as ‘The Grump’ on account of never failing to find something to moan about. In fairness he has good reason to be the chief groaner because he sets himself high standards both on and off the pitch which few of his team-mates can match. Kesh thinks all his team-mates should have super X-Ray peripheral eyesight like what he’s got. Many is the time when he goes tearing down the right flank screaming for the ball whilst his short- sighted team-mate in possession is moving in the opposite direction. When the hapless colleague doesn’t see him and passes the ball somewhere else, ‘Grump’ yelps in frustration (he doesn’t do expletives) and lopes back to his defensive position muttering to himself.

The boys have told us not to mention his pre-season melt-down, so we won’t.

Seriously, Kesh is a most popular and well-respected player with his team-mates and club supporters. He’s always got time to have a word with everybody and since the departure of the old management team he has made a superb contribution towards 1 st team training and management. A real clubman is Kesh and it was no surprise when he won player’s player, supporter’s player and clubman of the year at this summer’s presentation.
