Gumileva Stalin camps in the territory of Kazakhstan Today the question of political repressions in the Soviet Union is investigated by historians of the whole world. Now ripened need for deeper disclosure of pages of history of the totalitarian state. For this purpose, first of all, it is necessary to study comprehensively the historical sources connected with political repressions. Already there are numerous historical works, but more in-depth study of sources on this subject will give the chance to open it even more deeply. In the territory of Kazakhstan was placed the most part of labor camps of Head Department of Camps. On number of the federal republics of labor camps created in territories Kazakhstan is on the third place after Russia and Ukraine. The Karaganda labor camp was the branch of GULAG which was almost independent department in the huge territory of Kazakhstan. In Kazakhstan, the Soviet labor camps have become the epicenter of the punishment of the politically repressed people from all over the Soviet Union. In the years of political repression Kazakhstan became a place of exile for many thousands of people. Throughout the country there were a lot of camps, notorious of them - ALJIR, Karlag, Steplag. They served a conclusion and many representatives of the Kazakh public. Karaganda labor camp (Karlag) was established December 19, 1931, the center of the camp was located in the village of Dolinka 45 km from the city of Karaganda.

Buketov, Kazakhstan (E-mail: [email protected], [email protected]) Nurseries work during the Great Patriotic War in Central Kazakhstan The article considers the nursery activities during the Great Patriotic War and their role in helping women who replaced men in the workplace in Central Kazakhstan. A comparative analysis of data on the opening of new nurseries in the Union republics is carried out. On the basis of archival data provides information about the number of nurseries, both in cities and in rural areas, the number of available places, children's nutrition, health care, funding, availability of farms, sanitary conditions of nurseries, on dairy kitchens work. Г Introduction р The system of Soviet nurseries existed before the war, but it acquired much greater role during the war period since women had to replace men who went to war in production. With the beginningа of the Great Pat- riotic war an increasing number of women were involved in production which caused an urgent need to ex- pand the network of nurseries. Seasonal nurseries were opened for the children of women who worked in the collective farm fields in rural areas at the height of field work. Children wereК admitted to the nursery from the first months of life. Number of women employed in industry, including heavy industry, increased almost three times — from 8800 people in 1941 to 25591 people in 1945 in the Karaganda region during 1941– 1945.

Tezin temelini sosyalist inşa yıllarında SSCB politikalarının Kazakistan siyasi, sosyo-ekonomik, eğitim ve kültürel alanı üzerindeki etkileri oluşturmaktadır. Tez ayrıca SSCB'nin Kazakistan politikasını 1927-1938 yılları içinde ele almaktadır. Tez; Giriş, üç bölüm, sonuç ve eklerden oluşmuştur. Bölümler, kronolojik tarihe paralel olarak kademeli bir şekilde sunulmuştur. Çarlık Rus İmparatorluğu’nun Kazak Hanlığı döneminden, SSCB’nin Stalin dönemine kadar önemli gelişmeleri bölümlerin ara başlıklarında ele alınmıştır. Tezde yerleşim yerlerinin adları, kişi adları ile soyadları orijinal haliyle verilmiştir. In his speech at the World Summit for Sustainable Development, the President of Kazakhstan reminded the world community of the global scale of the processes that are underway, and called for prevention of irreversible harm to the environment in order to preserve the necessary life resources for our descendants. Environmental safety and sustainable development issues are of vital importance for Kazakhstan. Water resource deficit and significant land degradation, the Aral Sea disaster, the aftermath of the nuclear tests, accumulation of industrial waste, oil spills – all these problems are no longer fall under the category of environmental ones. Many of these problems are regional and even global. Coordinated interaction between the mankind and the environment and ensuring a safe environment are one of the priorities of the long-term Kazakhstan-2030 Strategy. It has clear-cut provisions: “...increase efforts in making our citizens healthy during their life time, and enjoying a healthy environment”.

Abstract The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 had different effects on the history of the Turkish peoples living in this geography. Studies and research that could not be criticized due to ideological pressure during the Soviet Union have started to be questioned today. During the modern development period of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the interest of researchers in the national history of the 1920s-1930s increased. This is an entirely natural phenomenon, since the foundations of Soviet society were laid during this time. Thanks to the reconstruction, history as a science was liberated from the ideological influences and templates of the Communist regime. The most major development in the modern history of the Republic of Kazakhstan was its participation in Russia. However, the national liberation movements of the Kazakhs against Russian colonialism emerged in Kazakhstan. During the Soviet Russian era, the policies of the Moscow administration gave rise to great social calamities in Kazakhstan. The policies implemented by Soviet Russia in the 1920s and 1930s were considered as the “Greatest Years of Persecution" in Kazakhstan.
