Kazakhstan’s Blueprint for road traffic development outlines six main transit corridors: 1. Tashkent - Shymkent - Taraz - Bishkek - Almaty - Khorgos; 2. Shymkent - Kyzylorda - Aktyubinsk - Uralsk - Samara; 3. Almaty - Karagandy - Astana - Petropavlovsk; 4. Astrakhan - Atyrau - Aktau - Turkmen frontier; 5. Omsk - Pavlodar - Semipalatinsk - Maikapshagai; 6. Astana - Kostanay - Chelyabinsk. After graduation he was a district geologist at the Atyrau Drilling Operations Department, a leading geologist, a deputy head of the oil recovery and well overhaul section in Makat District of Kazakhoil Emba OJSC. In 1999, he was appointed Chief Geologist at Makatneft OGPO of Kazakhoil Emba OJSC. From 2000 to 2004, he worked at Kazakhoil NC JSC as Chief Engineer of the Department of Production Management, Manager, Deputy Director of the Geology and Development Department, Director of the Geology Department. From 2004 to 2007, he was the Director the Department of Geology and Geophysics of the Geological and Technological Service, Director of the Department of Geology, Geophysics and Reservoirs of the Exploration and Production Unit of KazMunayGas NC.

Reference Information 2 STRATEGIC REPORTING ABOUT THE COMPANY Company background JSC “KazMunaiGas Exploration Production” (“KMG EP” or “The Company”) was formed in March 2004 through the merger of JSC “Ozenmunaigas” (OMG) and JSC “Embamunaigas” (EMG). The Company retained its position as one of the top three oil producers in Kazakhstan last year as can be seen from the 2015 results. Last year the Company produced 12,351,000 tonnes of crude oil (251,000 bopd) including its share in production from LLP JV “Kazgermunai (KGM), CCEL and PetroKazakhstan Inc. (PKI). The project provided technical assistance and training to public health specialists in improving the pharmaceutical sector. In the Newly Independent States (NIS), RPM has worked, respectively, in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Kazakhstan. The technical areas included rational prescribing and use of drugs, development of regional formulary systems, implementation of competitive drug procurement for the public sector (tendering), and development of drug information services. The RPM workplan in Kazakhstan for 1999–2000 included an indicator-based pharmaceutical sector assessment in the USAID pilot Karaganda Oblast.

Three Protestants were given jail terms in absentia. A further 6 individuals are serving restricted freedom sentences. A further 15 are under post-jailing bans on specific activity. A further 27 who completed sentences still have their bank accounts blocked. All of them are Sunni Muslim men. In addition, a further 6 individuals are known to be serving restricted freedom sentences for exercising their right to freedom of religion or belief. All but one of them are Sunni Muslim men.

    PREFACE In response to a request from the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of Japan decided to conduct a study on “Master Plan Study on Cluster Development in Food Processing Industry in the North Kazakhstan Oblast” and entrusted to the study to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JICA selected and dispatched a study team headed by Mr. Takumi TOGASHI of HOKKAIDO INTELLECT TANK between October, 2009 and July, 2010. The team held discussions with the persons concerned of food processing industry as well as the officials concerned of the Government of the North Kazakhstan Oblast and conducted field surveys at the study area. Upon returning to Japan, the team conducted further studies and prepared this final report. I hope that this report will contribute to the promotion of cluster development in food processing industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, especially North Kazakhstan Oblast, and to the enhancement of friendly relationship between two countries.
