In my opinion, it was not only a general attempt at undermining US institutions (that came later) but originally it was a determined effort to make sure that Hillary Clinton did not become president. Putin feared her more than anyone else. For those who have NOT followed this page from the beginning: this website was one of the first to talk about the Trump-Russia collusion at a time when few dared mention the Steele dossier. Just to be very clear: this is not about whether Russia's interference changed the results of the election (i personally think that the FBI investigation into Clinton's email server had a much bigger impact). It is about Putin's strategy to attack the USA, and, secondly, it is about the extent of Trump's collaboration with Putin. And, just to be fair, Putin's Russia is not the only country that ever interfered in US politics.

FEMA also initiates mitigation activities, trains first responders, works with state and local emergency managers, and manages the National Flood Insurance Program and the U.S. Fire Administration. FEMA became part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on March 1, 2003 FEMA boilerplate On August 23, 2005, the National Hurricane Center reported a “disturbed” weather pattern off the southeastern coast of the Bahamas that would soon become the most notorious hurricanes of our time—Katrina. Within three days, the storm was a Category 3 hurricane blowing through southeast Florida. Six days later, much of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and parts of the Louisiana coast were destroyed. Seven days later, the break in the New Orleans levees overwhelmed the city. And within a month’s time, on September 24, Hurricane Rita, a hit the Louisiana and Texas coastlines as a Category 3 storm causing extensive wind and water damage. In the days preceding and weeks following these storms, the Federal Emergency Management Agency distributed 584 press releases (between August 23 and October 31). We are pleased to present our social report telling about some of our most significant events and undertakings in 2009. Alfa-Bank has a profound respect for the cultural heritage of our great country and endeavours to contribute to preserving it. For instance, we financed restoration work on a number of unique books in the Orenburg Universal Scientific Library named after N. Krupskaya, including Decrees of Ekaterina Alexeevna and Peter II published as early as in 1743 and works of Mikhail Lomonosov. In Nizhniy Novgorod, we sponsored restoration of Nikolay Koshelev’s canvas The Burial of Christ which was the ver y fir st ar t work in the collection of the regional museum. Alfa-Bank also covered the costs of restoring two pictures of the globally recognised artist Ivan Shishkin — Evening in a Forest and Evening in a Pine Forest belonging to the Tatarstan State Museum of Fine Arts in Kazan. Having supported initiatives aimed at preserving memory of our past for many years running, we also prioritise care for the young and talented, since they are our future.
