Directions from the North Join the A34 southwards towards the M60. Continue down the Kingsway part of the A34 until you reach Tesco and Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre (with Cineworld and Chiquito). Just after the cinema at the next set of major traffic lights take the left fork (note, this is not the turning into the car park but the road after that). Then turn left again almost straight away at the next set of traffic lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with a sign saying ‘no exit’. Turn right here and follow the road past the basketball courts round to the back of the sports hall, until you arrive at the rear car park.
Directions from the South Join the M56 northwards towards Manchester. Be sure to turn off at Junction 3 to stay on the M56. Depart at Junction 1 onto the A34. At the next set of major traffic lights (about ½ mile) turn right. This is just before Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre. Turn left shortly after at the next traffic lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with a sign saying ‘no exit’. Turn right here and follow the road past the basketball courts round to the back of the sports hall, until you arrive at the rear car park.
Directions from the West (via the M60) Travelling on the M60 anticlockwise towards Stockport, go past Junction 34 signposted towards Didsbury (you cannot exit North on Junction 3) and carry on to Junction 2, signposted Cheadle A560. Come off at Junction 2 and follow the slip road round, continuing on the dual carriageway righthand lane to the roundabout. Take the fifth exit at the roundabout, continuing along the A560 (Stockport Road) towards Cheadle. Stay on this road through one set of traffic lights to the next set where there is a right filter (approx ¾ mile). Turn right here onto the B5059 (Manchester Road). You are in effect now doubling back on yourself and will pass over the motorway. Follow the road to the first set of traffic lights, just before Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre. Turn right at the lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with a sign saying ‘no exit’. Turn right here and follow the road past the basketball courts round to the back of the sports hall, until you arrive at the rear car park.
Directions from the East (via the M60)
Join the M60 clockwise (before Junction 1). As M60 Junction 3 is restricted (you cannot exit North) then leave the M60 at Junction 1 and turn right onto the B5169 (Didsbury Road). Travel on this road for sometime until the road ends by reaching the A34. Turn left onto the A34, the cinema complex should then be on your left. Take the second left onto the B5095 and 200 yards later take the next left at the lights. The cinema car park should be on your left. Follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with a sign saying ‘no exit’. Turn right here and follow the road past the basketball courts round to the back of the sports hall, until you arrive at the rear car park.
