Motion No. 2 (2-266/2017-M), to discuss the State’s obligation under Article 40 of the Constitution in the wake of current scenario of Muslim world turmoil stretching from South East Asia to Sahara. The Met office has said that weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country on Sunday. Dense fog prevailed over plain areas of Punjab and Sukkur division. Dense fog is likely to occur in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night and morning hours on Monday. As the blanket of fog disrupted normal traffic on motorways and national highways in Punjab and Sukkur division it also disrupted flight and train schedule due to poor visibility. With regard to synoptic situation the Met office said that a westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country tonight and likely to grip upper parts on Monday. It may persist over northern areas till Tuesday. Predicting rain/snowfall on Monday and Tuesday, it said rain/thunderstorm is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Quetta, and Zhob divisions, Fata, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Bannu, Peshawar, Kohat, Kalat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions and Islamabad on Monday/Tuesday. During the period July 2012 to June 2017 (5 years), TDAP received funds amounting to Rs.5,147,231,000/- from Finance Division Out of these funds TDAP incurred Rs. 2,406,985,500/- on promotion of export during the stated period. (b) The amount i.e. Rs.2,406,985,500/- mentioned above has been fully utilized for promotion of export. The detailed break-up of the activities, year-wise, is attached at Annex-I. (c) The following steps being taken by the Government to increase exports: 2 i. Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced the export package of PKR 180 billion for exporting business community, which is applicable for nearly 18 months for the period from 16th January, 2017 to 30th June, 2018.

    PARLIAMENTARIANS TAX DIRECTORY FOR YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2013 (Published on 28 February 2014) 1 FOREWORD On 06.01.2014, during my speech in Senate, I had announced to publish a Tax Directory of members of Parliament and assemblies by 15.02.2014, in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (6) of section 216 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. I am pleased to present the first Annual Tax Directory of honorable parliamentarians for the tax year 2013, prepared by the Federal Board of Revenue. This precedent has set high standards of transparency. The tax directory provides tax details of all members of Senate of Pakistan and the National Assembly of Pakistan and the Provincial Assemblies. Chairman, Members, Chief Commissioners and Officers of FBR extended their maximum assistance to parliamentarians in order to facilitate them in getting their NTNs and in filing of Income Tax Returns for the tax year ended on 30 June 2013. To date all the parliamentarians have obtained their NTNs and out of total 1172 parliamentarians,1127 have filed their Income Tax Returns for the tax year ended on 30 June 2013 and for the remaining parliamentarians, due process is being undertaken.
