LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD – 23rd SEPTEMBER

It is indeed a proud moment as Dr. B. K. Jain, Trustee & Director of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot was presented with ‘The Time Achievement Award’ at the Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society of India (IIRSI) - Annual Conference, New Delhi on September 23, 2017. From the latest innovation to the challenges, the scientific committee of the IIRSI honours people who have contributed immensely in the field of Ophthalmology. Dr. B.K. Jain has made various presentations and papers in the said field. He has also introduced community outreach eye camps, vision centers and operational research in Central India. His vision to put Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya on the global map of eye care providers truly makes him deserving of the award. Our heartiest congratulations from the entire family of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust.

2 CHIEF MINISTER’S VISIT -- 10th SEPTEMBER

Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh visited Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust (SSSST), Chitrakoot on 10th September, 2017. Dr. B.K. Jain, Director and Trustee of SSSST showcased the activities undertaken by the trust to the Chief Minister who appreciated the contributions and assured full co-operation by the State Govt. for the trust’s current and future undertakings.

HEALTH MINISTER’S VISIT- 14TH SEPTEMBER

Mr. Rustam Singh, Health Minister and Mr. Pradeep Patel, Cabinet Minister, of the Government of Madhya Pradesh visited Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust (SSSST), Chitrakoot on September 14, 2017. They over viewed the various activities undertaken by the Trust and were highly impressed by the phenomenal contribution of the employees, Doctors and Dr. B.K. Jain, Director & Trustee of SSSST in the field of Eye Care & Health Management. They assured of full co-operation to the Trust by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.

3 Vision Centre Inauguration - 25TH JULY

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot inaugurated its 40th vision centre at HATTA, District - Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) with great enthusiasm and joy. The Chief Guest, Smt. Uma Devi, MLA from HATTA, inaugurated the vision centre in the presence of representatives from both Hatta and Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya. In spite of heavy rains, all participated in the inaugural function.

VRIDDHASHRAM CHASMA DISTRIBUTION - 26TH JULY

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot organised a Vriddhashram chasma (spectacle) distribution programme at Children eye care centre in Sadguru premises. 53 Participants underwent a complete health check- up wherein 41 participants were detected with Refractive error. All 41 participants who belonged to Pramodvan Vriddhashram, Chitrakoot were given Spectacles free of cost.

4 DOCTOR’S FELICITATION CEREMONY - 31ST JULY

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust organized a felicitation ceremony on July 31, 2017 where Doctors of 2014-15 batch completed their fellowship course with flying colours. Doctors were felicitated by our Director and Trustee – Dr B.K. Jain in the presence of distinguished dignitaries. Sadguru family wishes all Doctors success in their future endeavors.

SEVA MEET - 25TH- 26TH AUGUST

SEVA organised a review meeting on GSI’S (Global sight initiative) strengthening capacity and learning to effectively deliver quality eye care (SCALE) on 25th & 26th August, 2017 at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot. Lions Arvind institute of community ophthalmology, PBMA’S H.V.Desai hospital, L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Dr. Shroff’s charity eye hospital, Vivekanand Mission Ashram Netra Nirmay Niketan & Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya actively participated in the meeting and shared their Valuable ideas and expertise. An Eye donation campaign (Netradan Pakhwara) was organised where Rangoli competition was also held in the premises.

AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON EYE DISEASE— 26TH AUGUST

Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot organised an awareness programme on eye diseases and Lasik treatment at Katni Arts and Commerce College, Katni (M.P.) on Au- gust 26, 2017. Furthermore, senior members delivered talks which was well received by the audience.

5 POST GRADUATE TEACHING PROGRAMME - 1ST – 3RD SEPTEMBER

A 3 day central zone AIOS – ARC Post Graduate Teaching programme supported by M/S SUN PHARMA for Post Graduate residents was organized from September 1st - 3rd at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. More than 125 post graduate residents from U.P., M.P., Chattisgarh, Raja- sthan and Uttrakhand attended the programme and 52 renowned faculties across India shared their Knowledge. Almost all aspects of ophthal- mology was covered which could benefit residents immensely. The Students also got to learn some practical aspects at specially designed Diagnostic Stations in all the sub – specialities and 3D Theatre. Last but not the least, the icing on the cake was the oppor- tunity to get hands-on-training in phacomulsification by our team of cataract consultants at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya in state-of- the -art wet lab in Chitrakoot. In the Post graduate quiz competition, 38 teams across 5 states participated. The winners were Team Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot – Dr. Namrata Gupta and Dr. Nisha Yadav.

EYE DONATION CAMPAIGN - 10TH SEPTEMBER

A Talk show on Eye Donation Campaign was organised at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot on September 10, 2017. Furthermore, all the participants interacted with the doctors present at the talk show wherein they clarified their doubts on Eye Donation and at the same time expressed their ideas for Eye Donation Campaign

6 EYE DONATION RALLY - 11TH SEPTEMBER

Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya organised a Netradaan (eye donation) rally at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. Dr. B. K. Jain, Director and Trustee SSSST inaugurated the rally by waving a flag. Students of Nursing College, paramedical staff of Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya and others participated in the rally.

ORBIS INDIA PARTNER’S MEET - 23RD SEPTEMBER

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot hosted the Annual Orbis India Partner’s meet at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot on September 22 and 23, 2017. Almost, every partner of Orbis India participated and shared their views at the meet. Dr. Rahul Ali, Country Director, Orbis India along with his team organised the event. Eminent personalities like Dr. B. K. Jain, Director & Trustee SSSST and Dr. Elesh Jain, Administrator SSSST along with Resource Personnel, Dr. Manju. V. Aswani, DGM & Zone Head (East), Indian Register Quality Systems, Dr. B.K. Rana, founding CEO of Quality & Accreditation Institute (QAI) and former Director of NABH were also present on the occasion.

7 NATIONAL DOCTORS’S DAY– 1ST JULY

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot celebrated National Doctor's Day commemorating the untiring efforts of entire medical fraternity. It is also a day to encourage medical professionals to come together and follow the responsibilities of their profession with dedication and ethics. For patients, it is a day to say thanks to the doctors for their priceless care. National doctors day is celebrated every year all across India on 1st of July giving honour to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the most famous and leg- endary physician of India and renowned freedom fighter, of- ten considered as the great architect of West Bengal.

30TH COMPLICATED ORTHOPEDIC RECONSTRUCTIVE CAMP—8TH TO 15TH JULY

Complicated orthopedic camp was organized in JKC from 08th to 15th July 2017. Chief Surgeon Dr.H.K.Vakharia and his team from Jamnagar, Gujrat have given valuable services during this period. Knee replacement, Hip replacement and complicated orthopedic surgeries & 62 procedures were performed during the period. A massive 3-day ComplicatedOrthopedic reconstructive camp was conducted by Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust at Jankikund Chikitsalaya on (8/07/2017 to 15/07/2017) The camp witnessed an overwhelming turnout with patients coming from all over M.P., U.P., and Bi- har to get treated by renowned Orthopedic surgeon Dr.H.K. Vakharia, Jamnagar, Guja- rat. The camp saw 471 registrations with 62 surgeries that benefited the patients. 223 Calipers were distributed with the contribution from Mahavir Viklang Seva Samiti, Kota, Rajasthan.

8 PAIN RELIEF CAMP – 22ND JULY

Chief consultant Dr. Sunny Bhasin Jabalpur M.P., has conducted Pain Relief Camp in JKC on 22nd July 2017. During the camp total 82patients (male = 40 Female = 42) were screened and treated with medication & 14 patients under went OT Procedure (Block), some patients were advised for MRI. Thus several patients were benefitted by super specialty doctor in remote areas.

STUDENTS FELICITATION CEREMONY - 14TH JULY

For the 5th consecutive year, meritorious students of Sadguru Shiksha Samiti, Chitrakoot received Scholarship from Arvind Mafatlal Foundation, Mumbai. The Ceremony was graced by Chairman Shri Vishad P. Mafatlal and all the Trustees of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust. An Alumni meet of retired teachers was organized and felicitated by the Trust.

GUIDANCE AND TRAINING WORKSHOP – 28TH JULY

Sadguru public school, Chitrakoot organised a `Guidance and Training workshop’ at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Auditorium for students to set their Career goals and achievements to enable them to become a successful educated citizen. The workshop was held under the guidance of Career Counselling expert, Ms. Swati Sharma from Conscious solution private limited, New Delhi.

9 JANMASHTAMI - 12TH AUGUST

Sadguru Public Hr. Sec. School organised a cultural programme for primary & pre- primary classes. The theme of the programme was “Krishna Janmotsava”. All the Primary students participated in it.

INDEPENDENCE DAY-15TH AUGUST

Sadguru Shiksha Samiti, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust celebrated Independence Day with great joy and enthusiasm. Students performed Prabhat Pheri early in the morning. Cultural Activities and Sports were also performed by the students.

KARATE COMPETITION (SATNA) - 20TH AUGUST

Students from S.P.S. participated in Regional Karate Meet at Satna. Our students performed well and many of them won medals in their weight category.

EYE DONATION SPEECH-26TH AUGUST

Our Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Hospital’s ‘Eye Bank’ dept. gave information related to eye donations, its myths and donation process and procedures, in order to let know maximum number of people about this kind cause. A representative from Eye Bank described the process of paper work related to eye donation and also told how eyes of donor helps two persons to see this beautiful world.

10 INTERSCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT - 29TH AUGUST

Sadguru Shiksha Samiti, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust organised an Inter- School Football Tournament on August 29, 2017 at Arvind Bhai Khel Parisar. The first match was played between Vidyadham and Shri Ram Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and the second match was played between Sadguru Public School and Vidyadham. Sadguru public school won the tournament by 4 points.

TEACHER’S DAY - 5TH SEPTEMBER

Sadguru Shiksha Samiti, Chitrakoot celebrated Teacher’s day on 5th September, 2017 at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust’s Auditorium. The Chief guest of the programme was Dr. Bk Jain, Director and Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. More than 100 teachers of various educational institutes of the trust were felicitated and honoured. Sadguru Shiksha Samiti’s chairman Mrs. Usha Jain was of the view that Teachers are the nation builders and play a very significant role in shaping up the career of Students, thereby inculcating culture, discipline and morals in students who are the future of tomorrow.

EDUCATION MINISTER’S VISIT – 12TH SEPTEMBER

The Education Minister of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Vijay Shah, visited Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot on 12th September 2017. The Education Minister along with Dr. B. K. Jain, Director & Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust had a meeting with the Teachers, Principals and Officers of Satna district. Dr. B.K. Jain showcased the activities undertaken by the Trust to the Education Minister, who appreciated the contributions of the Trust and assured to share the teachings of Param Pujya Gurudev, Shri Ranchhoddasji Maharaj, across education institutes.

11 INVESTITURE CEREMONY - SEPTEMBER 15TH

Investiture Ceremony was held at Sadguru Public Higher Secondary School, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. The Student Council team was formed for the session 2017-18 where House Captains, Sports Captain and Prefects were elected. Dr. B. K. Jain, Trustee & Director of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust was the Chief Guest at the ceremony while Mrs. Usha B. Jain, Chairperson, Sadguru Shiksha Samiti was the Guest of Honour.

JAYA PARVATI VRAT - 6th - 11th JULY

On July 2017, Jaya Parvati Vrat Ceremony started from Prarthna Bhawan to shri Raghuvir Mandir. On the final day of Gauri Jaya Parvati vrat, Dr. B. K. Jain, Trustee & Director of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust and smt. Usha Jain performed the Puja.

VRIKSHAROPAN - 27TH JULY

On the auspicious day of Hariyali Amavasya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust organised Vriksharopan (Tree plantation) programme in the Trust Compound. District Magistrate, Satna Mr. Naresh Pal , S.P. Mr. Rajesh Hingankar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. D.N.Gautam and Senior members of the Trust planted Saplings. Dr. B.K. Jain, Director and Trustee, SSSST has a vision of planting 5000-10000 saplings in the Swarna Jayanti Samaroh Varsha of the Trust.

12 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY - 12TH AUGUST

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust celebrated International Youth Day on August 12, 2017 in the trust premises with great fervour and enthusiasm. A talk show on the significant role of the youth and development of a robust society was organized wherein contestants expressed their views and perspectives. The elite panel of judges recognized and appreciated the thoughtful ideas conveyed by the contestants. The program was also overwhelmed with the audience participation.

INDEPEDENCE DAY - 15TH AUGUST

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust celebrated 71st Independence Day at Vidyadham School with great enthusiasm and joy. The day started with Prabhat Pheri done by students of various educational institutes of the trust. The flag hoisting was done by Dr. B. K. Jain, Director and Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, who also took the salute of the passing parade. Students of the various educational institutes of the trust performed various heart winning folk dances. Several interesting games & competitions were also organized for small children.

JOURNALIST’S MEET - 21ST AUGUST

A team of reputed journalists of India visited Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya (SNC), Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. Mr. Subeesh Kuyyadiyil of SNC briefed the journalists about the world class facilities, such as 26 modular Operation Theaters, Wet lab, amongst others, that are provided to the patients . As a special gesture, spectacles and medicines were distributed by the journalists to the patients in the ward. Dr. B.K. Jain, Director and Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust was highly praised by the journalists for providing State-of – the – Art Eye hospital with world class infrastructure in a rural area.

13 MAHAMANDLESHWAR AKHILESHWERANAND GIRIJI ‘S VISIT – 18TH SEPTEMBER

Mahamandleshwar Acharya Shri Akhileshweranand Giriji , President of Gau Samvardhan and Pashupalan Board, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh ,visited Gau Seva Kendra of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. Shri B. K. Jain, Director & Trustee of SSSST and Mrs. Usha B. Jain, Chairperson of Sadguru Shiksha Samiti welcomed him to the trust. He appreciated the great work being undertaken at the Gau Seva Kendra and assured overall support by the board.

SADGURU NAVRATRI MAHOTSAV - 25TH SEPTEMBER

Shri Sadguru Navratri Mahotsav commenced the nine day celebrations with great joy at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. Dr. Bk Jain, Director & Trustee of SSSST performed the evening aarti with great divinity, amidst a huge gathering. Keeping up with the traditions, Dandiya and Garba, were beautifully performed by men and women from all the sections of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust.

AKHAND RAMAYAN PATHA AT NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDING - 29TH SEPTEMBER

An Akhand Ramayan Patt was performed at the newly constructed building, adjacent to the nursing hostel at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. Dr. B. K. Jain, Director & Trustee of SSSST along with Mrs. Usha B. Jain, Chairman of Shri Sadguru Shiksha Samiti concluded the Akhand Ramayan Patt by performing the hawan after which a divine Kanya bhoj was also organised.

14 GURU PURNIMA MAHOTSAV - 09TH JULY

Shri Guru Purnima Mahotsav was celebrated at Shri Raghuvir Mandir with great joy and enthusiasm. Guru Bhai, Guru Bahan and disciples of Pujya Gurudev from all across India participated in the event. The day started with Guru - Pujan performed by Hon'ble Chairman Mr. Vishad P. Mafatlal. The Annual Activity Report was handed over to all the Trustees by the Chairman. Tree Plantation Festival (Van Mahotsav) was inaugurated by Chairman and all the trustees by planting saplings at the Trust premises. Also Sadhu Bhandara was held at Raghuvir Mandir.

TULSIDAS JAYANTI - 30TH JULY

Janma Jayanti of Pujyapad Goswami Tulsidasji was celebrated on July 30, 2017 at Shri Raghuveer Mandir. The Celebration began with pujan of Shri Tulsidasji, performed by Dr. B.K. Jain and Smt. Usha B. Jain followed by Interschool Antakshari on Ramcharitmanas Chaupai amongst all other educational institutes of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust and Sadguru Shiksha Samiti, Chitrakoot.

15 SHRAVAN JHOOLA MAHOTSAV- 3RD AUGUST

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust organised a Shravan Jhoola Mahotsav at Raghuvir mandir with great enthusiasm and joy. The Shravan Jhoola Mahotsav began on a very auspicious day – Ekadashi and will continue till Rakshabandhan. A melodious bhajan sandhya was staged and beautiful jhankis were displayed in the mandir premises.

JANMASHTAMI MAHOTSAV - 16TH AUGUST

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav at Raghuvir mandir with enormous zeal and enthusiasm. Dr. B.K. Jain, Director and Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust along with Mrs. Usha Jain, President of Shiksha Samiti performed puja and aarti of Lord Krishna. Melodious Bhajans were sung by teachers of Shri Ram Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya. A spectacular and enjoyable ‘matki phod’ celebration was at its best recital.

SHRI ATUL KRISHNA BHARDWAJJI’S PRAVACHAN - 19TH SEPTEMBER

Dr. B.K. Jain, Director & Trustee of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot welcomed Param Shraddhey Shri Ram Charit Manas expert, Shri Atul Krishna Bhardwaj Ji, who gave a brilliant lecture on Guru - Mahima, Param Pujya Shri Ranchhod Dasji Maharaj at Shri Raghuvir Mandir Trust, Jankikund, Chitrakoot. Mrs. Usha Jain, Chairperson of Sadguru Shiksha Samiti along with Administrator, Dr. Elesh Jain were also present to grace the occasion. 16 Annual Sponsor- Meet at Anandpur - 15TH July

To acknowledge the camp and Vision Center supporters the “Annual Sponsor Meet” was organized on 15th July 2017. The special guest for the function was Mr. Prahlad Bharti, MLA Pohari (Shivpuri district). Around 150 sponsors from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh were felicitated by Dr. V. S. Joban- putra, Director & Trustee, SSSST. Dr. Pawan Soni; Mr. Ravi Upadhyay and Mr. Milind Rawal delivered talks on Common Eye Diseases; Sustainability and highlighted the performance of Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya. Inauguration of Vision Center at Bina: 04TH August

With an objective to strengthen Primary Eye Care, 9th Vision Center of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, Anandpur was inaugurated on 4th August 2017 at Bina in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh by the chief guest Mr. Mahesh Rai, MLA-Bina in presence of SSNC Team lead by Dr. Basant Saraswat and Mr. Shakeel Ahmed. Fly Mode Workshop on Strengthening the Quality in Eye Care: 8th September

Vision 2020: The Right to Sight INDIA in collaboration with Quality Resource Centre (Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi) organized a one day fly mode workshop on 8th September 2017 at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, Bhopal (M.P.) on “Strengthening the Quality in Eye Care Organization”. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, Program Manager – Vision Center & Training from Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya Anandpur actively participated in the workshop.

17 Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society Annual Conference: 23rd-24th September

Dr. Pawan Soni, Retina Consultant and Dr. Priyank Jain, Jr. Consultant participated in two days Annual Conference of Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society of India held on 23rd-24th September 2017 at New Delhi. The conference focused on the latest developments in cataract and refractive surgeries wherein experts from across the globe presented their views; shared their experiences and demonstrated their techniques.

Inauguration of Vision Centre at Ashok Nagar: 26th September

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust is committed for the eradication of needless blindness in the rural part of central India. Towards the attainment of this objective, SSNC Anandpur today i.e. on 26th September 2017 inaugurated its 10th Vision Centre at Ashok Nagar, Madhya Pradesh in presence of Mr. Shanu Alam, Additional S.P. Ashok Nagar; Rotary members and SSNC Team. The vision centre will cater to the eye care needs of rural population from in and around Ashok Nagar.

18 International Director of Lion’s Club visited SSNC, Anandpur- 1st August

Lion G. S. Hora, International Director, Lion’s Club Interna- tional visited SSNC on 1st Au- gust 2017. He was welcomed by Mr. Ravi Upadhyay and Mr. Milind Rawal. During his short visit Mr. Hora visited the hospi- tal and expressed a deep sense of gratitude towards the trust for the humanitarian work being carried on in such a remote ar- ea. Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra, Director and Trustee honored him with a momento. Tree plantation campaign by Lion’s Club International Anandpur Sadguru was also launched in presence of Mr. Suresh Upadhyay; Dr. S. S. 151 girls actively participated in Jaya Parvati Vrat and Gauri Pujan held at Prarthana Bhavan from 6th-11th July 2017 at SSSST Anandpur under the kind guidance of Su. ILA Bahan Jobanputra and Smt. Bharti Bahan Jobanputra. The Vrat ended with Ratri-Jagran and Purnahuti.

19 Guru Punam Celebrations at Anandpur - 9th July

Guru Purnima Mahotsav was celebrated at Shri Ramdas Hanuman Mandir on 9th July 2017. Special Pujan was performed on the occasion at Gurumani by Shri and Smt. Sureshbhai Upadhyay in delightful presence of Shri. N.B. Lohani, Trustee SSSST; Smt. Bhartibahan Jobanputra; Shri Dineshbhai Ruparel; other Gurubhai-bahans and staff. Shri N. B. Lohani in his address emphasized on the path of SEVA to achieve salvation. He also highlighted theimportant milestones achieved by Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust. A bhandara was also organized at Sadgurunagar where in the Gurubhai-bahans and staff took the Prasada along with their families.

Oath Taking Ceremony of Lion’s Club Anandpur Sadguru - 28th July

Lion’s Club Anandpur Sadguru held an oath taking ceremony for its newly inducted executive council in presence of Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra, Director & Trustee SSSST Anandpur who chaired the function. The oath was administered by Lion R. G. Pathak. Mr. Ravi Upadhyay took oath as charter president and Dr. S. S. Tripathi as secretary along with other council members. The young team promised to work on prevalent social issues to make the society a better place. Senior ophthalmologist, Dr. Dharmendra Saryyam was felicitated on the occasion by Lion R. G. Pathak and Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra for performing more than 50,000 ophthalmic surgeries.

20 Midbrain Activation Session - 25th July 2017

Midbrain Activation training session was orga- nized at Smt. Sushilaben Arvindbhai Mafatlal H.S. School Anandpur from 14th-25th July 2017 by team consisting of Mr. Umesh Joshi, Mr. Sanjay Patel and Ms. Kinjal Joshi from Angel Midbrain Activation Ahmedabad. School children actively participated in the event and learned skills to sense visual properties without actually seeing them. The technique also helps children to learn faster. Live performance by the children was arranged at SSNC Auditorium on 23rd July 2017 in delightful presence of Mr. Pankajbhai Majithia, Mumbai. The trainers were felicitated by Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra, Director & Trustee, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Anandpur.

Independence Day Celebrations -15th August

71st Independence Day was celebrated across the trust with great joy and enthusiasm. Tri-color was hoisted at Smt. Susheelaben Arvindbhai Mafatlal H. Sec. School by Su. ILaben Jobanputra, President Shri Sadguru Seva Samiti. Flag hoisting ceremony was followed by cultural programme by children from school and Sanskrit Pathshala. In her speech Su. ILaben emphasized on cleanliness and disciplined life. The gathering was also addressed by senior members from the trust. Teachers, Acharyas, and hospital staff were also present at the function.
