Drive back to the hotel by evening. Dinner and O/N stay at the houseboat. D. Day 4) Srinagar – Sonmarg (80 Kms – 3 hrs approx) - After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Sonmarg. Upon reaching, check into the hotel and freshen up. Later visit Thajiwas Glacier, Baltal Valley and Nilagrad River. Drive back to the hotel by evening. Dinner and O/N stay at the hotel. E. Day 5) Sonmarg – Srinagar - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. Upon reaching, check into hotel and freshen up. Later proceed for Srinagar sightseeing which includes Tulip Garden, Shalimar Bagh and Shankaracharya Temple. Also enjoy one hour Shikhara ride at the beautiful Dal Lake . Drive back to the hotel by evening. Dinner and O/N stay at the hotel. F. Day 6) Srinagar – Yusmarg – Srinagar - After breakfast, Proceed to one of the most charming and untouched place in Kashmir called Yusmarg. The term militarisation in this thesis connotes the militarised state and, more primarily, the growing influence of the military within the state that has profound implications for state and society. In contrast to conventional approaches that distinguish between inter and intra-state military conflict, this thesis analyses India’s external and domestic crises of militarisation within a single analytic frame to argue that both dimensions are not mutually exclusive but have common political origins. Kashmir, this thesis further argues, exemplifies the intersection between militarisation’s external and domestic dimensions.
