Llegar con media hora de antelación le permitirá ingresar al concierto con tranquilidad y disfrutarlo en su totalidad. Si al momento de llegar al concierto éste ya ha iniciado, el personal del auditorio le indicará el momento adecuado para ingresar a la sala de acuerdo con las recomendaciones dadas por los artistas que están en escena. Agradecemos se abstenga de consumir comidas y bebidas, o fumar durante el concierto, con el fin de garantizar un ambiente adecuado tanto para el público como para los artistas. Durante el transcurso del concierto por favor mantenga apagados sus equipos electrónicos, incluyendo teléfonos celulares, buscapersonas y alarmas de reloj. SÍGANOS EN Sala de Conciertos @ConciertosBR Banco de la República Luis Ángel Arango Banrepcultural Banrepcultural EL IMPACTO EMOCIONAL DE LA CULTURA En los últimos 20 años el campo de la administración cultural se ha ido sofisticando y armando de herramientas para argumentar y defender la financiación y subsistencia de las artes y la cultura. Es así como han surgido estudios que dan cuenta del impacto de la cultura en la economía y en la capacidad innovadora de un país. Se habla así del porcentaje de la cultura dentro del PIB o de cómo un peso invertido en cultura genera más pesos en otros sectores (si una persona va a un museo en el proceso de hacerlo toma un taxi, compra un café, y visita una tienda de ropa al lado del museo). Y así hay cantidad de estudios que analizan el impacto de la cultura en el turismo, en la economía local, en la seguridad o en el desarrollo de finca raíz. Esto sin incluir los estudios y foros que analizan cómo en un país como Colombia las artes y la cultura son un muro de contención para que los niños nunca empuñen un fusil. Sin embargo, en medio de tantos indicadores, estudios y estadísticas, se puede perder el sentido que tienen las artes en nuestra vida. Además de tener un impacto en la economía, las artes nos inspiran, nos invitan a ser mejores, a no conformarnos y a ver, escuchar y sentir que en realidad el potencial que cada persona tiene es infinito. En esto las artes y el deporte van muchas veces de la mano. Así como hay personas para quienes un jugador de fútbol es un ejemplo, un ídolo que lo inspira a seguir el camino de su convicción, a sostener un espíritu de lucha y a ejercer su capacidad de liderazgo, hay otras para quienes un músico, un actor o un bailarín pueden ser ejemplos de dedicación, disciplina, empeño y de que los sueños y aspiraciones pueden hacerse realidad. Benito Meza, Alexandre Moutouzkine, Emmanuel Ceysson y Roland Dyens son artistas que visitan Colombia no con el objetivo de que tengan una alta incidencia en nuestro PIB, vayan a potenciar nuestro turismo o a generar desmedidas ventas de café. Estos cuatro artistas son ejemplos de compromiso, de amor y respeto por su pasión, de entrega hacia sus públicos, de virtuosismo y de capacidad para comunicarse a través de un lenguaje que exige un dominio técnico muy alto. Estos cuatro artistas nos comprueban que la capacidad del ser humano para alcanzar estados excepcionales de rendimiento y producir avanzadas creaciones estéticas es inagotable. El público de Sincelejo, Cartagena, Santa Marta, Buenaventura, Florencia, San Andrés y Bogotá podrá encontrar en sus conciertos un momento para dejar la rutina, separarse del bullicio y el afán y poder pensar, por un momento, que la belleza y la excelencia son posibles. Y eso, en un país como Colombia que tiene tantas carencias y dificultades es ya, en sí, muy importante. 1 BENITO MEZA clarinete Foto: Vanessa Briceño Nació en Valledupar, Colombia. Actualmente reside en Filadelfia (Estados Unidos), y se desempeña como solista representado por la prestigiosa Astral Artists, organización que ayuda a desarrollar las carreras de jóvenes talentos en los Estados Unidos. Benito comenzó sus estudios musicales con su padre, Roberto Meza, y a los trece años de edad dio inicio a sus estudios formales de clarinete bajo la guía de Carlos Julio Parra Vivas, en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Valledupar, donde fue miembro de la Banda Departamental durante cinco años. 2 Luego de culminar sus estudios de bachillerato, la Universidad Javeriana, por intervención del maestro Guillermo Gaviria y del compositor Julio Reyes, le otorgó una beca para continuar con sus estudios musicales y de clarinete con Héctor Pinzón y Christopher Jepperson. En Bogotá, Meza formó parte de la Banda Distrital y de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Colombia, y participó en numerosos proyectos más allá del ámbito de la música clásica. Posteriormente viajó a Venezuela, invitado por Valdemar Rodríguez, para continuar sus estudios en el Instituto Universitario de Estudios Musicales (IUDEM), en donde tuvo como profesor de clarinete a Édgar Pronio. En Caracas hizo parte del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela, fue miembro de la Orquesta Simón Bolívar, con la cual realizó giras por Estados Unidos y Europa, y recibió clases magistrales con los destacados clarinetistas Michel Arignon, Alain Damiens, Luis Rossi, Eddy Vanoosthuyse y Philippe Cuper, entre otros. En 2001, Benito se trasladó a la ciudad de Boston (Estados Unidos) para continuar con sus estudios en Longy School of Music y en el New England Conservatory, donde obtuvo diplomas con honores. Recomendado por el presidente del New England Conservatory, tuvo la oportunidad de tocar con Yo-Yo Ma y Gabriela Montero en la preparación de la obra escrita por John Williams para la postulación del presidente Barack Obama. En 2011 fue invitado por el afamado músico de jazz Danilo Pérez a ser parte de su trabajo discográficoProvidencia , el cual fue nominado al premio Grammy. Benito ha fungido como solista en la Orquesta Filarmónica de Boston, la Sinfónica de Cincinnati, Symphony in C, Camerata Pacífica, la Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá y la orquesta en residencia del Festival Marlboro. También se ha presentado en importantes salas de los Estados Unidos, entre ellas el Carnegie Hall en Nueva York, el Kaufman Music Center, el Jordan Hall y Symphony Hall en Boston, entre otros, y ha trabajado con directores destacados, como Gustavo Dudamel, Simon Rattle y Claudio Abbado. A través de Astral Artists, Benito tendrá su recital debut en Filadelfia y en la ciudad de Nueva York, adonde recientemente fue invitado por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para ser parte de una velada musical que honrará a su secretario general, Ban Ki-moon. 3 ALEXANDRE MOUTOUZKINE piano El pianista ruso Alexandre Moutouzkine ha sido una figura muy constante en los escenarios de concierto más importantes del mundo. Su presentación en el Wigmore Hall de Londres fue aclamada por la revista International Piano como «suntuosamente orgánica, con muchas reflexiones personales y pertinentes, ofreciéndonos un equilibrio calculado entre la retórica y la fantasía... técnicamente deslumbrante». Su interpretación de los Estudios de Chopin en la Gran Sala de Conciertos del Conservatorio de Moscú fue grabada en vivo y lanzada bajo el sello Classical Archives de esta ciudad. Alexandre Moutouzkine irrumpió en la escena estadounidense de conciertos a los 19 años, cuando recibió el Premio Especial de Potencial Artístico en el XI Concurso Internacional de Piano Van Cliburn. A propósito de la presentación en Van Cliburn, The Dallas Morning News escribió: «Tocó losIntermezzi, Op. 117 de Brahms de la manera más hermosa y conmovedora que jamás se había escuchado. Este estilo, a la vez triste, delicado y noble, gozó de elegancia e intimidad contundentes». En abril de 2011, Moutouzkine se presentó por primera vez en el Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts en el fin de semana de apertura del Festival Internacional de las Artes de Filadelfia, con la interpretación en vivo de laSuite del Pájaro de Fuego de Stravinsky, junto con una animación comisionada específicamente para la ocasión, titulada Who stole the Mona Lisa? (¿Quién robó la Mona Lisa?). Entre las presentaciones memorables de la temporada 2010-2011, se cuenta el programa Between the Keys (Entre las teclas), que consistió en las obras completas para piano solo de John Corigliano y en la colaboración con artistas de la talla del violista Roberto Díaz, el violinista Benjamin Beilman y el Cuarteto de Cuerdas Jasper, entre otros. Las presentaciones recientes más destacadas incluyen el Concierto No. 1 para piano de Brahms con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Berlín bajo la batuta de Lior Shambadal, presentado por primera vez en el Gran Auditorio de la Filarmónica de Berlín y en el Kaplan Penthouse del Lincoln Center con el Cuarteto de Cuerdas Jasper; asimismo están el Concierto de piano de Scriabin con la Sinfónica de Stanford, bajo la dirección de Eckart Preu, y la Rapsodia sobre un tema de Paganini, con la Orquesta Symphony in C. Moutouzkine ha hecho giras por Alemania, Francia, España, Rusia, Ucrania, Kazajistán, Italia, Inglaterra y países de Norte y Suramérica.

Üflemeli çalgılar arasında en eskilerden biri olan flütü, Yunan Tanrıçası Athena'nın da çaldığı bilinmektedir; anavatanı Eski Yunan ve bazı Asya ülkeleri olarak bilinir. Bunlar arasında Latin Amerika ülkelerine de rastlamak mümkündür. Ancak flütün ortaya çıkışının ‘’anonim’’ olduğu söylenebilir. 1700’lü yıllara kadar ilk yapıldığı haliyle kullanılan flüt, daha sonra geliştirilerek günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Ünlü alman flütçü Theobald Boehm, Pentenrieder ve Greve gibi flütistler ilkel kullanımın yetersiz kalışıyla flütü bugünkü haline getiren bir takım tasarımlara geliştirmişlerdir. B. Pentenrieder (Munich, c.1840), basit sistem (7-delik) Boehm and Greve (Munich, c.1829), basit sistem (9-delik) 1832 yılında Boehm’in geliştirdiği ve günümüzdeki flüte en yakın tasarımı Senfoni orkestrası içinde ise, ‘’tahta üflemeliler’’ grubunda Obue ve Fagot ailesi ile birlikte yer alan Flüt ailesi şu enstrümanlardan oluşur: • Piccolo flüt • Sol flüt (alto) • Do flüt • • Piccolo Flüt: . Piccolo flüt, büyük flütün hemen hemen yarısı kadar uzunluktadır. Büyük flütteki kuyruk bölümü piccolo flütte yoktur. Bu nedenle de büyük flütün en kalın sesleri olan Do ve Do diyez sesleri küçük flütte bulunmaz.

Ses rencontres fructueuses avec les plus grands compositeurs de son temps, de Stockhausen à Lachenmann, Alain Damiens en passant par Donatoni, Xenakis, Grisey, Kurtág ou Ferneyhough, en font un témoin e de premier plan de l’histoire musicale des XX Lire, entendre, transmettre e et XXI siècles. Longtemps professeur au conservatoire d’Aubervilliers-La Courneuve, il a enseigné au Conservatoire de Paris aux côtés de Michel Arrignon et au sein du département de pédagogie. — Dans cette liberté contrainte, j’ai fait l’expérience d’un véritable bien-être ; je me sens bien en jouant cette pièce, Alain Damiens car il n’y a aucune morale établie, ce sont seulement des sons, il n’y a pas Normalienne, philosophe de formation, de message. Anne Roubet est musicologue, pianiste et mezzo-soprano.
