ason Health hosted a Grand Opening M& Dedication Ceremony for Mason Clinic in February 2020. Mason Clinic is a new 60,000-square-foot medical office building physically connected to Mason General Hospital. SKANSKA, the building contractor, began construction in October 2018. The $43.5 million project did not require new tax revenues and was financed through revenue bonds issued by Mason County Public Hospital District No. 1. The two-story building consolidates Shelton practices and increases exam rooms from 71 to 110. The first services in operation are Primary Care, Orthopedics, Laboratory, Walk-In and Pediatrics. By June 2020, Eye Care, General Surgery, Women’s Health and Podiatry will be offered. The Grand Opening of Mason Clinic also marshals in the District’s new name, Mason Health. “It truly is a new day for our patients and community,” said CEO Eric Moll. “We could not be more excited about this new chapter in our history and look forward to another 50-plus years of serving you.” masongeneral.com
