The following Big Band arrangements are published by Walrus Music Publications, a large music publishing company with international distribution specializing in big band arrangements.
• Guitafrika, 2008 An odd-meter afro/Cuban piece written to feature the guitarist. Features extended solo sections, a call and response section between the horns and guitarist, and advanced rhythm section concepts.
• Drive, 2008 A driving piece with a mix of rock and afro-cuban rhythms. Features trombone, trumpet and sax soloists, as well as the drummer.
• Heist Flick, 2007 A hip-hop feel with advanced level horn lines. John Fremgen - 10 --
• Perfect Leather Coat, 2007 An advanced level fast swing arrangement. Used as a showpiece for the drummer and the trumpet soloist.
• Dave Holland Does it Like This, 2006 An advanced level arrangement featuring odd-meter passages and numerous changes in underlying groove. Inspire by the recordings of the Dave Holland Big Band.
• Guru Talk, 2006 A moody, modal composition written for my musical mentor, Shelly Berg. Featuring extended modal soloing opportunities as well as an odd-meter gospel shout section.
• Anytime Girl, 2006 Ann odd-meter arrangement featuring contrapuntal figures and extended modal improvisation.
• Schitzodelphia, 2005 A very fast, advanced level swing arrangement. This feature intricate melodic lines in the saxes and trombones, as well as extended solos for saxes and the drummer.
