The painting hanging in the St. Paul, MN 55155-1298 chamber is a replica by St. Paul artist, Edward V. Brewer. Healy, and now hangs in the National TTY (651) 296-9896 Portrait Gallery in the nation’s Capitol. They are found at the Chicago Historical Society and Chicago’s Newberry Library. Art & Production Coordinator Paul Battaglia When the Minnesota House chamber was restored in 1990 to its original look of 1905, the restoration committee decided that the Lincoln portrait should remain, for it had Writers earned its place in the chamber.
