38 OSMOTHERLEY SHOW How to find us From the South About 9 miles north of Thirsk on the A19 there is a little sign to the right saying Thimbleby, I advise you not to turn across the carriageway here but to go about 1 mile further on and take the left turn to Osmotherley. Come down to the T-junction, turn left again to Osmotherley and go under the bridge (under the A19). DO NOT take the right turn to Osmotherley the road is not suitable for large vehicles. Keep left, the sign says Thirsk A19 and come back 1 mile south on the A19, to the turning that says Thimbleby, turn left and follow the little country road round until you see the show on your left hand side. From the North Go on to the A19 and travel on the south-bound carriageway. PAST THE OSMOTHERLEY TURNING, about 1 mile, there is a turning to Thimbleby on your left. TAKE this turning and follow that little country road round until you see the show on your left hand side. From the West Go to Northallerton and take the A684 to Teesside and Stokesley. DO NOT go onto the A19, instead go straight on under the bridge (under the A19). DO NOT take the right turn to Osmotherley as the road is not suitable for large vehicles but keep left, the sign says Thirsk A19, and go 1 mile on the south-bound carriageway of the A19 until you see the turning left to Thimbleby, turn left and follow that little country road round until you see the show on your left hand side.
