The mission was to search for black objects that were infected from a virus that was dangerous for the consumers. The text below was presented the last day of the event. ‘DSI (Direct Shopping Investigations) department of the Inner Research Agency is responsi- ble for research in products, shopping centres and shop facilities. Under our investigation in Stadsfeestzaal, March 4-5/2016, Antwerp – Belgium, we discover that there is a substance that infects only the BLACK products. Under our estimation this substance SC3 has been found in the ruins of the big fire of that building in 2000. Our experts argue that residues of this substance has survived into time and is able to be transmitted into the black products. Some materials has shown tolerance into that substance which creates a type virus, strong enough to cause and accelerate some kind of carbonation. In some exceptions this contamination has reverse results and gives extremely rare valuable qualities. We don’t know yet exactly which combination makes that unique result, since it has been observed to occur in metal, wood and organic tissues. Our will is to examine this phenomenon further and we believe it will provide significant expla- nations in the near future. Vrijdagmarkt, Ghent / April 2015 ‘Art selects’ organised by Pauline Vanhoven and Evi Steyaert My vacuum cleaner resists to clean the house anymore. Wants to go out and confront more challenging surfaces.. Many people passed by. Some thought that I was an activist protesting for the dirty streets. Some others thought that I came from the fun-fair that was on the square that moment, and I had to prepare my stage. Not a bad thought! Jacob Van Artevelde on his plinth, turned around to show me some dirty spots to clean! It was good weather, perfect for some deep cleaning after winter. This book contains 21 different web-pages, several ideas of how I deal with the fragmented char- acter of internet in the form of digital images(3D, illustrations, gif), projects, sketches, pictures, ect.
