* Total faculty headcount may differ from counts reported in other sections of the Fact Book for the following reasons: (1) Counts of "part-time faculty" include the following: (a) any full-time faculty member being paid an additional payment to teach a class on an overload basis, either within or outside his/her home department. (b) part-time faculty being paid to teach in more than one department are counted once in each department. (c) the FTE calculation corresponds to the one used in US News and World Report, IPEDS Fall Enrollment Survey, and the Common Data Set: specifically, FTE = # of full-time + 1/3 # of part-time. Institutionally, that may not be consistent with other calculations of FTE. (d) figures in Pharmacy do not include preceptors. (e) figures do not include teaching assistants. (2) Other includes Spiritan Division (112), High School (10), Cross-Registered (22), and Forensic Science and Law Certificate (4). (3) English as a 2nd Language students and faculty are included in Liberal Arts.

1 Due to nature of Brottier, bed count is actual capacity count. 2 Each occupied unit has at least one occupant. 3 Temporary quad housing in Saint Ann Hall and temporary triple housing in Assumption Hall was created to meet housing demand. 4 Headcount by classification is from student's self-reported, signed Verified Floor Rosters as of September 13, 2010. This may not be consistent with headcount by classification based on earned credits reported in sections of the University Fact Book.
