Western Pennsylvania is fortunate to have 3 entry levels into the nursing profession (diploma, associate, and baccalaureate programs). We strongly encourage our nurses to continue their education through advanced degrees. UPMC works collaboratively with schools to create programs focusing on the advancement of nursing education.
