Become a Matchmaker How to help your customer buy the right loom for them

If your customer has never woven before, we suggest that they take a class first before buying a loom. They may find out during the class that they want to do a different kind of weaving than they first thought. Get people weaving with rigid classes.

The Baby Wolf is our best selling loom. It is available in 4-shaft, 8-shaft, or 4 now 4 later. It has a 26” weaving width. Our 8-shaft is our most popular model.

Our Mighty Wolf Loom, like the Baby Wolf and Wolf Pup has an x-frame. However, it comes with a high castle tray. Available in 4-shaft, 8- shaft, or 4 now-4 later options, the Mighty Wolf has a 36” weaving width. Wolf Accessories

The height extender can be installed on the any Wolf loom.

What it does: raises up the loom 2”

Recommended for weavers 5’6” or taller.

Order with the loom. If ordered later, the cost is higher because of longer treadles and tie-up cords.

The weaver will need to attach the height extender to the loom as we can’t ship it installed. Standard Floor Loom

Our Standard Floor Loom is a heavier loom and can be a real work horse. It comes in many options: Low castle, high castle, 36” wide, 46” wide, in cherry or maple. It can be ordered as a 4-now 4- later or an 8-shaft loom. We do not have a 4-shaft option.

Our Tapestry loom is a simple frame loom that allows for a continuous warp. Warping is around a moveable beam that allows the warp to roll Tapestry bobbins around to the back of the loom. It is shown here with an a-frame stand. But it can also be used with a trestle stand.

Table looms are great for teaching and especially for sampling because the weaver can try different “treadlings” without having to mess with the treadle tie-up cords.

Table looms are available in 15”, 20”, and 25” weaving widths and with either 4 or 8 shafts.
