MAINSTREET CRUISERS MAY 2018 NEWSLETTER www.mainstreetcruisers.ca MAINSTREET CRUISERS MAY 2018 NEWSLETTER www.mainstreetcruisers.ca MAINSTREET CRUISERS MAY 2018 NEWSLETTER www.mainstreetcruisers.ca MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND DISBURY FUEL-A-PALOOZA 2018 The Didsbury Car Show is one of the earliest and is well attended with as many as 800 cars coming in to the show. This year the number was over 500 and filled both sides of the street downtown for 8 city blocks. I had heard about the show an wanted to see it for myself so we took the red car down. Marlene and I went down on Friday and registered before going on the cruise to Olds. We were able to have a good visit with my cousin who lived in Didsbury. Saturday morning the cars started being parked at 7 AM. We got parked and cleaned up the car and then took a walk (one of many) to look at the cars. Most of them were new to me. There were a good number of newer muscle cars like the dodge hellcats, mustang, corvettes, and cameros but I was interested in the older ones. Bob & Marlene Simpson Thanks to Bob & Marlene for this article. If you have something you’d like to see in the newsletter, just drop Randy a line at [email protected].
