Notable correspondents include John Ashbery, Amiri Baraka (LeRoi Jones), Ted Berrigan, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Grenier, Langston Hughes, Gerrit Lansing, Ron Padgett, and John Taggart. Writings contain Hollo's translations of works by Ginsberg, Pentti Saarikoski, Dylan Thomas, and William Carlos Williams, as well as original poetry, prose, and works edited by Hollo. The collection also contains articles, poems, translations, and complete works of other writers, including Mary Abrams, Jane Wodening, and Laura Wright. Teaching files include syllabi, outlines, class notes, other course materials, and student works. Personal and professional papers contain conference materials, grant applications, awards, additional writings, travel logs, ephemera, notebooks, financial records, and photographs. Artwork consists of collages, some of which are collaborative projects between Hollo and his wife, Jane Dalrymple-Hollo, oil pastel drawings, and sketches. Printed materials contain annotated books, serial publications, brochures, pamphlets, and newspapers. Computer and audiovisual media consist of compact discs, videocassettes, audiocassettes, and film.
