NJTV Strengthens MARCH 2017 NJTV Strengthens Community Connections & Engagement ntroducing In Your Neighborhood, a new year-long initiative that takes public television deeper into the communities it serves more than ever before. A powerful combination of news, special programming and community engagement events, NJTV will use its on-air and digital platforms and personnel to showcase some of the Garden State’s most dynamic places, shining a spotlight on the people, cultural fabric and issues that make those areas tick and the history that grounds them. I IOn March 23, the initiative launches with a special NJTV News with Mary Alice Williams at 5:30pm from the Camden Adventure Aquarium. Then, the entire NJTV News team will participate in the inaugural LIVE hour-long broadcast, which places the focus on the South Jersey city of Camden. In Your Neighborhood: Camden will examine the city’s successes and challenges, highlight the founding and history of Camden, the Battleship New Jersey, and other local compelling stories, and feature local officials and thought leaders. Elmo thinks that the class would love to see her wand. As he says this, he accidentally taps his head with her wand and he disappears, suddenly appearing at Abby's school. Now that Elmo is at her school, Abby thinks that it would be more fun to introduce Elmo to the class during Show and Tell. Then she can tell everyone what a good friend he is. Mrs. Goose allows Elmo to be a guest for the day and the class sings him the "Welcome Song." Abby is having a great first day of school and she is so happy to be learning so many new things.
