ART DIRECTION EXPERIENCE DESIGN DIGITAL MODELING CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT An enthusiastic visual storyteller and a bold experience designer. SCOUT EXPEDITION CO, Los Angeles, CA 2019 LEAD SCENIC ARTIST [AUG - SEPT 2019] Designed and installed large scenic elements on a micro-budget for "The Nest" immersive experience. THE HETTEMA GROUP, Pasadena, CA 2019 DESIGNER [APRIL - JULY 2019] Built and managed project Master Model, refining area development and maintaining design integrity of an E-Ticket attraction from SD into DD, which served as the base for all illustration and show set design efforts. THINKWELL GROUP, Los Angeles, CA 2015 – 2019 ASSOC. ART DIRECTOR [SEPT 2018 - FEB 2019] Directed the design deliverable efforts on 5 domestic and international projects ranging in scope from shoestring budget museum overlays to multi-million dollar entertainment complexes and attractions. Conceptualized and communicated the visual aesthetic of projects with clients, working closely with the project management teams and Creative Director to develop the overall narrative and maintain consistency. Developed concept models and rendered photo-real POVs, reference image boards and storyboards, as well as detailed facility models, while interfacing across all in-house departments in an accelerated schedule. Supervised teams of 4-10 designers, modelers, and illustrators with day-to-day project assignments, overseeing visual consistency and narrative accuracy. DESIGN ASSOCIATE [AUG 2015 - SEPT 2018] Directly assisted the Art Director throughout a project's journey—from building and rendering concept SketchUp models for illustrative and photo-real POVs, to overseeing master facility models and small design teams, to delivering complete and concise AD Packages with color, texture & material, and props selections. Collaborated on 38 unique museum, brand center, theme park, snow park, FEC, resort, and RD&E complex projects, often performing the roles of Art Director, Lead Designer, and Master Modeler, integrating show set and facility information, while meeting every set deadline no-matter how tight the turn-around.
