t v n A C A A er a cac v s im ia St e us e Timing of construction is subject to weather conditions and Ma H construction constraints.

By late summer, we expect Charles to be paved from Victoria South to Borden South, and ready for the next phase of work (i.e., laying the track, placing poles, stringing the overhead wires that bring power to the train and building the rest of the ION infrastructure). At this time we expect to reopen the road to through traffic, although periodic lane restrictions will be required until the new LRT track and infrastructure is fully in place.

For this work, GrandLinq will be installing a mobile groundwater treatment system to treat any groundwater that is collected during soil excavation. This ensures that collected groundwater is returned to the water system in the same or a better condition than when it was collected. Multiple mobile units will be installed for this purpose. Disruption to the public is expected to be minimal.

Throughout construction, we will continue to work with businesses and community members to understand concerns and identify solutions. Building the LRT service to support planned growth in the region is an enormous undertaking and we recognize that this work may cause some temporary inconveniences. We will strive to keep disruption to a minimum.
