APPENDIX A: CUSTOMER REVIEWS USED IN EXPERIMENT 1 Positive-First Order 1. “I ordered this dish-washer as I am doing a kitchen redo. I am very happy with its quality and designs. Definitely recommend it.” 2. “As for cleaning, it works. But the bad side is, it takes 3 hours to clean and you can't pause the wash, throw something in and let it go again.” 3. “I have had mine for over a year and I am very satisfied. It’s quality built, cleans well, and is big enough for a 2-person household. The hose is a little short, but that's minor. So far so good.”

4. “I like this machine! I have been several years without a dishwasher and this little thing is perfect for me and my husband. If you're single or it's just you and your partner this is the right machine for you.” 5. “It cleans well. I never expected a tiny model like this to clean as well as some bigger models out there, but it does. The wheels are plastic, but they roll easily. I use the machine about 3-5 times a week. I let it run right before I go to sleep and I wake in the morning to clean dishes.” 6. “You'll need dishwasher softener which is hard to find in stores. Instruction booklet is useless.
