AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP
The FCE Agricultural Scholarship was designed to help any student who pursues studies in a college, junior college, university or a trade school within the state of Kansas. Preference will be given to applicants that are pursuing study or a degree in agriculture or agri-business, and the applicant or applicant’s parents or guardian must be a stockholder in the Farmers Coop Equity Co.
A committee consisting of one member of the board of directors and two stockholder members, as appointed by the board of directors, will review the applications and select the scholarship recipient. It may be amended or changed at the discretion of the board of directors.
The amount of the scholarship shall be one thousand dollars and be awarded to the recipient after enrollment (five hundred per semester). A letter of enrollment from the college will be needed before payment is made.
Selection will be based on the above criteria along with performance in school and activities etc., as well as a need for such scholarship.
Enclosed please find two copies of the amended application. You may make additional copies as needed. Please discard any of the previous application forms you may have in your files.
