Applications can take up to 10 working days to process, from receipt of all documentation. You will receive an email or invoice when your documents are ready for payment. SEND NO MONEY NOW. Credit/debit cards or postal order only are accepted. After payment your documents will be posted to you.

Where can I find my CHASSIS/VIN NO.? The Chassis/VIN Number is a 17 character alphanumeric sequence. This can be found in your logbook, on the windscreen of your vehicle or stamped on your vehicle. If you are unsure, please refer to the Owner's Handbook or contact your local dealer.

What should I do if my chassis number is less than 17 digits? If this is the case there will not be a Certificate or Conformity available. If you require a Heritage / dating letter, the Wolfsburg museum in Germany will be able to provide you with one. Please contact:

How do I import a Left Hand Drive vehicle into the UK? Documents required: Actions required (to be carried out by a dealer):  Certificate of Conformity (Doc 1.)  Replace Headlamps for UK road compliance  Commission Notice Letter (Doc 2.)  Modify Speedometer to M.P.H.  Rear Fog Lamp to display on right hand side of vehicle

The Commission Notice Letter details the changes needed for the vehicle to be compliant for UK road use (as above). Please take your vehicle to your local dealer to complete the changes required. You will then need to submit the documents and receipts as evidence of changes, to the Vehicle Certification Agency. Further information can be found on their website: www.dft.gov.uk/vca/

How do I export a vehicle OUTSIDE OF EUROPE? If you are exporting to any of the following countries, please refer to their websites for further information. If exporting to any other countries, please contact the authorities in the country you are exporting to.

How do I import a commercial vehicle older than 2009 from SOUTHERN IRELAND? If unsure of the age of your vehicle please check the log book or chassis/VIN number. I have a Passenger vehicle older than 1997 OR a Commercial Vehicle older than 2009, what should I do? Unfortunately Certificates of Conformity are not available for these vehicles.
