Run for the Tiger V

RUN FOR THE TIGER IX SUNDAY, APRIL 24 2:00 PM

What: A benefit for tiger conservation projects in Asia. Participants will begin at Forbes College and run or walk a 5 or 10-kilometer course (that's 3.1 or 6.2 miles—you pick the distance!). All proceeds will be donated to the Princeton Save the Tiger Campaign to fund the protection of tigers.

Where: The walk/run starts and finishes at Forbes College on Alexander Street (right across from the 'Wa), with the majority of the course along the towpath. Registration opens at 1 pm and the walk/run begins at 2:00. Parking is available at the train station or on the street.

Entry Fees: The entry fee is $15. Fees may be paid directly, or raised by obtaining pledges from sponsors (see attached sponsorship form).

Extra: All participants will receive a snazzy Run for the Tiger IX t-shirt. Refreshments will be available before and after the run. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category as well as to the participant who collects the most pledges.

Why: The tiger is in danger of extinction! You can help save Princeton University's mascot, and have fun at the same time. Princeton Save the Tiger Campaign is an alumni group (from Class of '76) that maintains ties with Princeton Conservation Society and the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the funds raised in the run are donated by PSTC to support biodiversity/conservation research in endangered tiger habitats in Asia. We need your help. Come with friends and family, and get ready to have a great time.
