T550 MOTORBOAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ADAC MSG CUP O125, T400, S550 International Polish Championships JT250 Grand Prix of Żnin Żnin, July 1st-2nd 2006

1. Organizer Sport Amateurs Association "Baszta" under authorization of the Polish Motorboat and Water-skiing Association in Warsaw.

2. The place and the date of the race The races will be held according to the calendar of UIM and MMP on July 1st-2nd 2006 on the Small Lake (called Czaple) in Żnin according to the minute program.

3. Series and classes T550 - World CHAMPIONSHIPS ADAC - ADAC MSG CUP JT250 - Grand Prix of Żnin O125 - International Polish Championships T400 - International Polish Championships S550 - International Polish Championships

4. Heats 4.1. All the heats will be run under UIM and MMP regulations and this Avant Programme and ADAC regulations. 4.2. A course is a closed circuit. Heats will be run according to the included scheme. Each lap is 1500m long. 4.3. In T550 World Championship and Formula ADAC there will be 4 heats. Best three heats will be taken in final results. 4.4. In all other classes three heats will take place. 4.5. In JT250 class each heat is 6000m long (4 laps). 4.6. Other classes heat length is 12000m (8 laps). ADAC I class heat is on July 1st (12 laps, 18000m) 4.7. In all heats one safety lap is obligatory. 4.8. A driver who will not go the safety lap or will not react to signals will be disqualified. 4.9. A driver will be classified if he covers at least 75% of a course in the heat. 5. If the heat is stopped it will be repeated only once. 311. UIM.

6. Entries 6.1 .Entries should be sent till June 26th 2006 on the enclosed entry form and confirmed by the National Federation (by mail or by fax).

6.2. The entry signed by the driver will be treated as a approval of the Regulations of Motorboat World Championships - Żnin 2006. 6.3. Entry forms sent after closing of entries will not be included in programme publications. 6.4. The participation of the drivers in the Races is at their own charge.

7. Start 7.1. Dead engine start from the jetty under UIM rule 307, signalised by lights. 7.2. The organizers guarantee starting places for 18 drivers. 7.3. The late starters (after red light is off) must pass the safety zone (buoy no. 4). If a driver breaks the rule, he will be disqualified from the heat. 7.4. If the number of the drivers in a given class is higher than the number of starting places, qualifying heats (7500m long, 5 laps) will take place 304.03 UIM rule. 7.5. On the starting jetty each driver may be accompanied by two mechanics only.

8. Drivers' meeting 8.1. Obligatory drivers' meeting with the UIM Commissioner will take place in DEPO according to the minute programme. 8.2. Absence of a driver during the drivers’ meeting will be fined 200 PLN.

9. Scrutineering 9.1. Scrutineering will take place in DEPO on July 30th 2006 at 1200 - 2000 and July 1st from 700 - 1100. 9.2. During scrutineering the organizer will insist on having all elements of the equipment under U.I.M. rules and documentation for homologated engines. 9.3. Weighing of boats and measurement of engine loudness will be done by Technical Committee.

10. Practice 10.1. Training is possible after scrutineering and according to the minute programme. 10.2. Leaving the jetty during practice must be done through the safety zone only (buoy no. 4). 10.3. Wilfully usage of the boat on the water different from the schedule or breaking the rule 10.1. will cause disqualification from the competition. 10.4. During practice on July 1st, 2006 the timing will be carried out so all drivers are obliged to go 2 full laps at least. 10.5. The results achieved during practice will decide upon the places in the first heat or qualifying heats. 10.6. Since June 30th from 1200 till July 2nd to 1800 the water area will be closed for all other boats that will not take part in the Races.

11. DEPO 11.1. Depo will be guarded from 1200 on June, 30th 2006 till 1800 on July 2nd 2006. 11.2. Staying in Depo at night or during the opening or closing ceremony is forbidden. 11.3. It is allowed to leave and park boats only on marked places. 11.4. Only drivers, mechanics (over 16 years old) and functionaries have access to Depo. 11.5. It is forbidden to use open fire and to smoke cigarettes in the Depo. There will be a marked place for smoking. 11.6. All participants of the races are obliged to taking care of aesthetic look of boat’s environment. 11.7. At alarm horn it is requested to leave DEPO. 11.8. It is not allowed to park cars in DEPO. 11.9. Sleeping in DEPO during the night is forbidden.

12. Crane 12.1. Launching and lacing up boats from the water by crane will be carried out in class T550, ADAC and T400. 12.2. Boats intended to be craned in and out of the water must have slings and hooks. 12.3. Crane manoeuvres may be carried out only at the presence of a driver and on his responsibility. 12.4. It is not allowed to be on the boat or nearby while the crane is working.

13. Protection of the natural environment (art. 700 UIM) 13.1. Each driver is obliges to protect the natural environment. 13.2. All drivers should put a container under the engine in order to protect the area against pollution. 13.3 Used oils and other wastes should be put to special containers situated in DEPO 13.4 Permissible loudness under 504 UIM rule. 13.5 The organiser will fulfil all recommendation 704 UIM rule.

14. Minimum age 14.1. Minimum age of the drivers taking part in T550, S550 and ADAC is 16, in T400 - 14 years old. 14.2. In youth class JT250 age limit is 12 years old.

15. Awards 15.1. Winners in the World Championships get medals for the places 1-3, and cups for places 1-6. 15.2. In other classes the winners of the first three places will get cups. 16. Jury 16.1. Persons appointed to be members of the Jury must present the appointment from the National Associations, and deliver it to the Race Office on June 30th 2006.

17. Insurance 17.1. In order to take part in the competition it is obligatory to present a valid civil liability (O.C.) insurance and NW insurance according to point 17.2 and 17.3 of these Regulations. 17.2. Each competitor is obliged to transact a civil liability (O.C.) insurance agreement at the site of competition with a fee of 100 PLN, insurance sum is 100.000 PLN, damages of equipment are excluded. 17.3. The organizers will also require NW policy (unfortunate accidents) and medical treatment insurance issued in Polish or English and confirmed by insurance company. 17.4. It will be possible to purchase NW policy (accidents) and medical treatment at the Reception.

18. Protests 18.1. Protests should be submitted to the Jury under 401-403 UIM rules only in written form in Polish or in English at the Secretariat of the Race. 18.2. Protest fee is 300 PLN.

19. Administration 19.1. Reception will be located in Competition Centre - Miejski Ośrodek Sportu in Żnin (Town Sport Centre), Szkolna Street 18 - on June 30th 2006 from 1200 - 2100; - on July 1st 2006 from 700-1100.

20. Fuel 20.1. Drivers in class S, T, JT will use only fuel purchased from organizer according to 508.01 UIM rule. 20.2. Each drivers of S, T, JT must buy enough fuel in the reception office. 20.3. Organisers will supply fuel with octane no 98 RON at the price of c. 1 Euro/1 litre according to 508.02 UIM rule. 20.4. Technical specification of the fuel will be available in the reception office and on the information table. 20.5. Each driver must supply tanks marked according to international standards and with boat number. 20.6. Detailed information on distribution of fuel will be delivered in writing in the reception office.

21. Advertising places 21.1. The participants of the races are allowed to have advertising banners, flags and charts of sponsors only in the area of own boat. 21.2. Every other advertising places - viewing platform, embankment, masts, they are assigned for sponsors of the races.

22. Final Regulations 22.1. The Organizers reserve the right to make changes in this programme before the event. All the changes will be announced at latest during the drivers' meeting in a special written form. 22.2. The Organizers (Medical Commissioner) reserve the right to a medical examination of all drivers as well as to deposit drivers' medical evaluation sheets. 22.2.1. Jury may perform alcohol test of each driver according to 205.02.02 UIM rule. 22.3. For a damaged buoy the organizers will charge a fee of 2000 PLN - 313.03 UIM rule. 22.4. Each competitor is obliged to participate in opening and closing ceremony of the Championships. 22.5. The possibility to purchase full catering is at: WODNIK pub, Szkolna 18 st., price is 30 PLN 22.6 The organiser will not reserve hotels. 22.7. The interpretation of the above rules is on the side of the organizers.
