Jos hajonta noudattaa normaalijakaumaa, on odotettavissa, että noin kaksi kolmasosaa kaikista havainnoista osuu standardipoikkeamalla vähennetyn ja standardipoikkeamalla lisätyn keskiarvon väliselle alueelle. Mitä suurempi volatiliteetti, sitä suurempi sijoituksen tuottoon liittyvä epävarmuus. Laskennassa käytetään viikkotuottoja II TRACKING ERROR (Aktiivinen riski) Tracking error eli aktiivinen riski mittaa sitä, kuinka tarkasti sijoituksen tuotto seuraa vertailu- indeksin tuottoa. Korkea aktiivinen riski merkitsee sitä, että sijoituksen tuotto suhteessa sen vertailuindeksin tuottoon on vaihdellut voimakkaasti. Pieni aktiivinen riski taas tarkoittaa sitä, että sijoituksen tuotto seurailee vertailuindeksin tuottoa. Laskennassa käytetään viikkotuottoja III SHARPEN MITTARI Sharpen mittari mittaa tuottoa sen riskiin suhteutettuna. Riskittömänä tuottona laskennassa on käytetty Merrill Lynchin 3 kk Euribor-indeksiä ja volatiliteetti on laskettu viikkotuotoista. IV SALKUN KIERTONOPEUS Salkun kiertonopeus kertoo rahaston arvopapereiden vaihtuvuuden tietyllä ajanjaksolla. Luku lasketaan ensin vähentämällä tehtyjen arvopaperiostojen ja -myyntien yhteissummasta merkintöjen ja lunastusten yhteissumma. Salkun kiertonopeus on näin saadun luvun suhde rahaston keskimääräiseen pääomaan tarkasteluajanjaksolla. V TOTAL EXPENSE RATIO (TER-luku) TER-luku sisältää hallinnointipalkkion p.a.(mukaan lukien mahdollinen tuottosidonnainen palkkion), mahdollisesti erikseen veloitettavan säilytyspalkkion p.a., pääomasta mahdollisesti veloitettavat tilinhoito- ja muut pankkikulut sekä mahdolliset muut palkkiot, joita kyseisen rahaston sääntöjen mukaan voidaan veloittaa suoraan rahaston pääomasta. Rahastojen rahastojen osalta luku sisältää myös kohderahastojen kiinteät hallinnointipalkkiot. TER-luku ei sisällä kaupankäyntikuluja. VI RAHASTON KAUPANKÄYNTIKULUT Arvopaperikaupasta aiheutuviksi kuluiksi katsotaan välittäjille maksettavat palkkiot sekä valuutan- vaihdosta aiheutuvat kulut. Kaupankäyntikulut ilmaistaan prosenttiosuutena rahaston pääomasta. VII RAHASTOYHTIÖN LÄHIPIIRIIN KUULUVALLE SIJOITUSPALVELU- YRITYKSELLE MAKSETUT VÄLITYSPALKKIOT Lähipiirillä tarkoitetaan sijoituspalveluyrityksistä annetun lain 6 §:n mukaisesti samaan konsolidointiryhmään kuuluvaa sijoituspalveluyritystä tai luottolaitosta. Lähipiirille maksetut välityspalkkiot ilmoitetaan prosenttiosuutena rahaston maksamista välityspalkkioista. 2 PUOLIVUOSIKERTOMUS 2015 Arvo Finland Value 3 TOIMINTAKERTOMUS Osakekurssit nousivat ensimmäisellä vuosipuoliskolla Suomessa. Vuosi käynnistyi selvällä kurssinousulla ja huippu saavutettiin huhtikuussa. Sen jälkeen kurssit kääntyivät pienoiseen laskuun, kun osakkeiden ostoryntäys tasaantui ja uutisvirta USA:sta ja Aasiasta oli odotettua heikompaa. Rahastolle alkuvuosi oli erittäin hyvä ja tuottoero indeksiin kasvoi yli viiteen prosenttiin. Ylipainot Cramossa, Telestessä, Metsä Boardissa ja Nordeassa sekä Nokian ja Koneen puuttuminen salkusta olivat suurimmat selittävät tekijät hyvässä tuottokehityksessä. Cramon kurssinousu perustui hyvään ensimmäisen vuosineljänneksen tulokseen sekä Ruotsin rakennusmarkkinoiden kasvunäkymiin. Näin saimme takaisin viime vuonna menetetyn tuoton, kun syksyllä 2014 Cramon antama tulosvaroitus painoi osakekurssia koko loppuvuoden. Uskoimme heikkouden oleva kuitenkin tilapäistä ja pidimme yhtiön rahastossa ja tänä vuonna pitkäjänteisyytemme palkittiin. Telesten kurssia nostivat puolestaan uudet tuoteinnovaatiot ja Metsä Boardissa yhtiön ilmoitus paperinjalostuksen lopettamisesta ja keskittymisestä pakkauskartonkeihin otettiin positiivisesti vastaan. Metsä Board järjesti myös osakeannin alkuvuoden aikana ja osallistuimme siihen täysimääräisesti. Muutimme salkun painotuksia alkuvuoden aikana aktiivisesti erityisesti perusteollisuuden osalta: starttasimme vuoteen melko isoilla painoilla ja kun kurssit kääntyivät pieneen laskuun huhtikuussa ja euron heikkeneminen loppui, laskimme sektorin painoa. Yhtiötasolla aktiivisimpia olimme Outokummussa, Metsä Boardissa ja UPM:ssä, joita myimme loppukeväästä. Myös Atriassa, Keskossa ja Munksjössä olimme myyntilaidalla. Ostolaidalla olimme esimerkiksi Fortumissa, Lemminkäisessä, Ilkassa, Spondassa, Stockmannissa ja Valmetissa. Tarkastelujaksolla 2015 sijoitusrahastolle kuuluvaa äänioikeutta on käytetty seuraavissa yhtiöissä: Metsä Boardin yhtiökokouksessa 27.3.2015, Fortumin yhtiökokouksessa 31.3.2015, Affecton yhtiökokouksessa 8.4.2015, Keskon yhtiökokouksessa 13.4.2015, Aktian yhtiökokouksessa 13.4.2015 ja Stora Enson yhtiökokouksessa 22.4.2015. Rahastossa ei käytetty tarkastelujaksolla johdannaisia. Rahaston vastuullisena salkunhoitaja on tarkastelujaksolla toiminut Juha Varis.
