We are closely monitoring the current travel, health and safety situation worldwide and in Germany in particular. To keep you up to date, we summarized what we know below and we will update this document regularly. All indicators are now very positive, and we are confident that our fall shows are safe not only safe to conduct business in-person but that they will accelerate your export sales! As of June 22, 2021 Vaccination Status Germany ✓ Infection rates in Germany are at a record low with 8.6 cases per 100,000 for the last 7 days bringing the daily infections in entire Germany below the 1,000 mark. ✓ Over 50% of Germans are already vaccinated (at least 1 shot). It is projected that 70% of Germans will have access to vaccinations by the end of July this year.1 Travel to Germany 1 2 3 ✓ Generally, international business travelers may enter Germany with proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test. If arriving from No Risk Countries incl USA, Canada, all restrictions, be it for business or tourism were lifted! ✓ Quarantine, if required, is based on the country’s risk classification as classified by the German Authorities:

• No Risk Countries incl USA, Canada, and most EU and Eastern European countries: no restrictions; no quarantine! Upon entry, a proof of full vaccination (older than 14 days) or full recovery (must be older than 28 days) must be provided. For non-vaccinated or not fully vaccinated/recovered persons a negative Covid test must be provided on entry (PCR: no older than 72hrs, Rapid Antigen: no older than 48 hrs).

• Basic Risk Countries incl Mexico may enter Germany with proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test plus digital registration “Digitale Einreiseanmeldung” prior to entry. No quarantine, if a proof of vaccination or negative Covid test is provided/ uploaded via the digital registration portal.

• High Incidence Countries – most of South American and some African countries may enter Germany with proof of vaccination or negative Covid test plus the digital registration “Digitale Einreiseanmeldung” prior to entry. Quarantine is mandatory: min of 5 days with new negative test proof up to max 10 days.

• High Risk Variant Concern Countries - , and South Africa - are currently on the non-entry list. Departing from Germany ✓ Currently, all travelers must take a Covid test before flying back to their home countries. Testing centers with rapid 15-minute testing results are available close to the Koelnmesse fairgrounds and often at airports. ✓ Make sure to check your country of residence’s requirement for reentering after visiting Germany! Onsite at the Koelnmesse Fairgrounds ✓ Attendees and exhibitors will be checked for vaccination certificate or proof of negative Covid test upon entering show; documentation will be downloadable on cell phones.
