This net is held each Sunday evening at 6:30pm local time, on 147.48 simplex. The purpose of this net is to encourage interest in, and to provide information about, the Amateur Radio Emergency Service in this coverage area and Huron County. ARES offer emergency communications to public service and government agencies during potential and actual disasters of many kinds. This is a directed net.
