<p> Huron Co. ARES Net Preamble Good Evening, This is ______, my name is ______and I will be acting as net control for the weekly Huron County ARES net. This net is held each Sunday evening at 6:30pm local time, on 147.48 simplex. The purpose of this net is to encourage interest in, and to provide information about, the Amateur Radio Emergency Service in this coverage area and Huron County. ARES offer emergency communications to public service and government agencies during potential and actual disasters of many kinds. This is a directed net. Please address all transmissions to net control. As always, Priority or Emergency traffic will take precedence and will be handled immediately. This is ______, net control.
