AP Psychology Summer Reading List Revised for 10-11
Read the following selections. Be prepared for discussions returning to school. The class will “hit the ground running.” Assume that every student has a working knowledge of the content in each reading and will participate in dynamic and progressive conversation. Summary alone is not the goal. We want to apply these concepts to our experiences. Everyone is experienced in psychology whether they know it or not.
The first few assignments in the course will be based from these books that offer both clinical and practical information.
Reading these selections in the order listed may be helpful. Each book layers information to understand. Connecting the major themes that interweave throughout the writings are important to identify.
I encourage you to purchase used copies, paperback, of each book. Adhere to the same edition and publisher as listed so we will refer to each source in class.
