Artist Information - Deadline for applications -14th August Delivery of paintings to Springwood HS Hall (Grose Rd, Faulconbridge) Tuesday 25th August, 9.00am – 5.00pm Collection of unsold paintings by the artist (or their agent) from the hall Sunday August 30th, 4.30pm – 6.00pm.

Each year Springwood ART SHOW attracts hundreds of discerning buyers who are looking for quality artworks from both established and emerging artists and photographers.

Our sales reflect our efforts to present an exhibition that is truly unique. We create a wonderful atmosphere with musical performances and café offered throughout the event.

All prizes, except the Viewers' Choice, are awarded at Opening Night. The Viewers' Choice Prizes are awarded on Sunday at 3.30pm We thank all our sponsors for their generous support.

1 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. A HANDLING FEE $10 per work must be attached (PLEASE INCLUDE WITH YOUR ENTRY FORM) 2. Entries must be received by August 14th, 2015 to confirm your space. 3. Art work must be original and recent (last 24 months) and not previously exhibited at the Springwood Art Show. 4. All works to be labelled on the back with artist name, title, medium and price. 5. All works for sale to be framed (stretched canvas is considered framed) including wire or cord ready for hanging. 6. Please limit the size of your work to 90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft). 7. PRINTS – only limited edition, numbered prints will be accepted for sale. 8. Some works may not be hung if space becomes limited. 9. Artists / photographers with previous sales at last year’s ART SHOW can contact us about submitting extra works (8 works for the price of 6, i.e. $60). 10. The committee reserves the right to decide where works will be hung. We plan to hang artists' works together where possible. 11. All transport and insurance costs are the responsibility of the artist. 12. The organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the press or on our web page. 13. Commission 25% on all sales. If possible your cheque (for 75% of any sold works) will be available to collect when unsold works are collected. Your patience, if there is a queue, will be appreciated. Otherwise cheques will be forwarded to you by mail or if you wish done by direct deposit if you give your account details on the form. 14. ALL REASONABLE CARE WILL BE TAKEN IN HANDLING THE WORKS SUBMITTED BUT NO LIABILITY WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE ORGANISERS FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO WORK BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE ART SHOW OR IN TRANSIT TO AND FROM THE ART SHOW. NO RESPONSIBILITY AFTER 6.00 PM SUNDAY IF WORKS NOT COLLECTED, WITHOUT PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. 15. The recipient of the Viewer’s Choice Award is invited to become our featured artist for next year and donates a painting for the raffle prize. Please let us know if you do not wish to be considered for this prize.

Each artist receives two free adult passes to attend on Saturday or Sunday. Tickets to Opening Night can be purchased at the door, $15 includes supper and wine. Or special price $10 when delivering your artwork.
