MORNING PRAYER: is prayed Monday & Tuesday at 8.50am (9.30am on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday). THE ROSARY: is prayed twenty minutes prior to Mass/service, Monday to Friday.

RIP: Please pray for Kitty Ainsley (mother of Eileen Mason) who died recently, Carlo Pontone whose Requiem Mass is on Monday 22nd at 2.15.pm & baby Maddison Rose Broderick whose funeral service is on Thursday 3rd March 11.00am. STATION MASS: The next Deanery Station Mass for Lent, with concelebrating priests, is to be held here at Sacred Heart on Thursday at 7.30pm. There will be an opportunity to venerate the the relic of the cross. Refreshments afterwards in the hall. Please sign the list in the porch if you can help with refreshments. NB no morning Mass on Thursday. Morning Prayer will be at 9.30am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. STATIONS OF THE CROSS: are led on Sunday 28th February, 4.00pm by those who are to be confirmed this year. Please note all candidates must attend as part of their preparation programme. It would be good if they could be supported by their families as we follow the way of the cross in this ancient devotion of Lent. REPOSITORY: Day By Day copies for Lent are available for infants & juniors priced 50p. LENT LUNCHES: Mass on Wednesdays in Lent will be celebrated at 12.00 midday followed by a simple lunch in the hall to support CAFOD. If you can help please sign the list in the porch. thank you. CONCERT OF SACRED MUSIC: given by Clare College Choir Cambridge in collaboration with Luton Music Club, at Holy Ghost, Westbourne Rd, Monday 14th March 7.30pm. Admission is free, retiring collection and all are very welcome.
VOCATIONS WEEKEND: “Is the Lord calling you to the Priesthood”. The next vocations weekend will be held at Northampton Cathedral between 8th-10th April. NEW RITE OF MARRIAGE: the new rite of marriage comes into force from Easter which means the words couples say have changed as well as some of the scripture readings they can have during the ceremony. Please check with Fr Chris or deacon Jim before printing an order of service for your wedding. Booklets with the new wording should be available from the repository soon.
