February, in the Catholic Tradition, is the devotion to the Holy Family. It is a time between Christmas and Lent. It is a time to recall the Holy Family. It is within the Holy Family that Jesus spent his time before he embarked on his public service. There are two significant Feast Days in February… The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (11th) On February 11, 1858, a young lady appeared to Bernadette Soubirous. This began a series of visions. During the apparition on March 25, the lady identified herself with the words: “I am the Immaculate Conception.” Learn more here… https://www.franciscanmedia.org/our-lady-of-lourdes/ The Feast of The Chair of St. Peter the Apostle (22nd). A special day, in which the Church honors St. Peter and his successors.
