These higher quality coated and uncoated papers, which are used in magazines, catalogs, annual reports and as com- puter and copier papers, have a much higher chemical and mineral content than slower growing grades, such as tissue and newsprint. • In 2001, seven companies -- Akzo Nobel, Bayer, Dow Chemical, DuPont, Hercules, JM Huber and Imerys -- accounted for nearly 30 percent of the overall market.
