2. This is official notification that in accordance with referenced memoranda, U.S. Army Medical Command (USAMEDCOM) will standardize the credentialing process and meet credentialing and privileging process performance standards no later than 31 Mar 18. A privileging Expedited policy will be piloted in order to assess the effectiveness of the expedited process, collect feedback, and evaluate data prior to greater MEDCOM-wide implementation. The purpose of the expedited privileging process is to improve patient access to care and the readiness of Army forces.

3. The Credentialing Standardization Project will be initially accomplished across two phases: Phase 1a – Plan/Standardize (Aug 16 - 31 Mar 17); Phase 1b – Expedited Privileging Process Pilot (Upon notification – 24 Mar 17); and Phase 2 - Implement/Evaluate (1 Apr 17 - 31 Mar 18).

4.
