GENERALJOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include the ability to assemble, install and test hydraulic systems or components on on-site manufactured machinery and equipment. Measures, cuts and routes hoses to meet blueprint requirements. May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary to support manufacturing and fabrication process. JOB REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of hydraulics systems and components.
Able to perform standard measurements, use of gauges, calipers and micrometers.
Proficiency in use of all hand and power tools, machinery, diagnostic and performance testing equipment associated with hydraulic services, manufacturing and installation. Applicant must have mechanical skills and abilities, with attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work standing on hard surface (e.g. concrete) for up to 12 hours per day in hot or cold environment.
Good hand and eye coordination.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch and stoop to perform various functions of the position.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to work independently.
Must be able to work overtime if requested.
Must be able to read and understand English.
Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
Must be able to perform basic shop math functions and use standard measuring devices.
Must have excellent attendance history.
Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED
Technical school preferred.
