Estimate) (1) Bitumen VG-30 (60/70 Grade) - Rs. 28190 Per MT (2) Bitumen VG-10 (80/100 Grade) –Rs. 27246 Per MT FORMULA FOR BITUMEN COMPONENT:
V4 = QB ( B1 - B0 ) WHERE
V4 = Amount of price variation in Rupees to be allowed for Bitumen component.
QB = Quantity of Bitumen (Grade) in metric tonnes used in the permanent works and approved enabling works during the quarter under consideration.
B1 = Current average ex-refinery price per metric tonne of Bitumen (Grade) under Consideration including taxes (octroi, excise, sales tax) during the quarter under consideration.
B0 = Basic Star rate of Bitumen in rupees per metric tone as considered for working out value of P or average ex-refinery price in rupees per metric tonne including taxes (octori, excise, sales tax) of Bitumen for the grade of bitumen under consideration in prevailing quarter preceding the month in which the last date prescribed for receipt of tender, falls, whichever is higher. 2 Additional - Add Below Point (7) Tender (8) Condition for Pot Holes filling by BT Condition 1. The contractor shall use Pack/Bulk Bitumen VG -30 ( 60/70 ) only 2. Aggregates and Bitumen :The aggregates and Bitumen for providing Pot Filling by Bitumen shall comply with appropriate specifications of MORT&H 3. The patches formed on existing road surface shall be developed in regular shape such as a square or a rectangle as per requirement of the eroded shape using chisel, making walls of the depression / pot holes vertical on all sides, dewatering, Then filling the pot holes by Bitumen mix. 4. Contractor shall take photographs for such spots before, during execution & after execution of work and submit to the Engineer In charge for uploading on www.mahapwd.com website.
3 Additional - Add Below Point (8) Tender (9) Condition for Payment & Quantity - Condition 1) For Renewal, Strengthening work 100% Payment shall be made as per availability of Budget Provision. 2) For Maintenance work like Pothole etc.
a) Quantity of Maintenance work executed (pot holes etc) during the first year shall be limited to 50% of total quantity, beyond which, if required, it shall be executed with prior permission of Engineer In charge.
b) Quantity of Maintenance work executed (pot holes etc) during the Second year shall be limited to difference of total quantity and quantity executed in first year, and additional quantity, if required, shall be executed with prior permission of Engineer in Charge. 4 Additional - Add Below Point (9) Tender (10) The following conditions shall prevail : Condition 1. The operative period of the contract shall mean the period commencing from the date of work order issued to the contractor and ending on the date on which the time allowed for the completion of work specified in the contract for work expires taking into consideration the extension of time if any for completion of the work granted by Engineer in charge under the relevant clause of the conditions of contract in cases other than those where such extension is necessitated on account of default of the contractor. The decision of the Engineer in charge as regards the operative period of the contract shall be final and binding on the contractor. Where any compensation for liquidated damages is levied on the contractor on account of delay in completion or inadequate progress under the relevant contract provisions the price adjustment amount for the balance work from the date of levy of such compensation shall be worked out by pegging the indices to the levels corresponding to the date from which such compensation is levied. 2. This clause is operative both ways, i.e. if the price variation as calculated above is on the plus side, payment on account of the price variation shall be allowed to the contractor and if it is on the negative side, the Government shall be entitled to recover the same from the contractor and amount shall be deductible from any amounts due and payable under the contract. 3. To the extent that full compensation for any rise or fall in costs to the contractor is not entirely covered by the provision of this or other clauses in the contract, the unit rate and prices included in the contract shall be deemed to include amounts to cover the contingency of such other actual rise or fall in costs. 5 Additional - Add Below Point (10) Tender (11) Contractor shall quote his rate considering all taxes Condition applicable from time to time and GST imposed by Government from 1.07.2017 on all Government contracts / contractors. No claim of contractor on account of Reimbursement of these taxes and GST applicable shall be entertained.
