Dear Parent/Carer,
Activity Week 2017 Netherlands Trip
Following on from the parents’ meeting, please find below some of the answers to the questions raised plus some additional points arising:
Hand luggage (no hold luggage has been booked) maximum size is 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including handles. In addition to hand luggage, KLM allow one small hand held bag which must fit under the aircraft seat, no bigger than 40 x 30 x 15 cm, With a maximum weight of 12Kg between the two items
Liquids- maximum 10 items of liquids in a resealable bag maximum size 20x20cm. No individual bottle is to be greater than 100ml. It is best to purchase a travel kit which contains small plastic bottles into which liquids can be decanted.

Medical forms- Mrs Perkins would like completed medical forms returned directly to her, at your earliest convenience.

All meals are included with the following exceptions: Monday breakfast (eat at Birmingham airport), Monday lunch, Tuesday lunch, Thursday lunch and Friday lunch. ALL evening meals will be at our hotel in Soest. Friday evening meal in Amsterdam- students will have need to fund this for themselves
We recommend no more than 30-90 euro be brought on the trip to allow for meals and other incidental spending.
No need to provide your son/daughter with lots of sweets/drinks.
Swimming- when we visit Schvevigen, staff are not qualified to supervise open water swimming. Consequently, students are not allowed in the sea.
Meet at 02:30 on Monday 17th July – school gates will be open. Please use the playground for drop off. Estimated time of return is 23.00, Friday 21st July
Flight details are: outbound Birmingham to Amsterdam, KL1420 dept. 06.10. Return flight is KL1435 Amsterdam to Birmingham dept. 21.05.
